I got this recliner last week. I'm loving it. I have even slept in it once, lol. It’s corduroy which at first put me off, but actually it feels soft. The seat is nice and big which helps me to slepp in it-- I can prop up one knee. And it feels sturdy-- like I don't feel the joints giving way under me and I shift position. The split back makes it comfy under my shoulders The chair leans back easily when I pull the latch on the side. The footrest pops up smooth and returns with some weight on it. I like the pockets on both sides. One has my remote, the other has other things I like nearby at my TV watching station. This helps remove some of the clutter from the little table. Arrived in pieces, but only took me about 10-15 minutes to put together. The instructions were simple to follow. Only thing: it doesn’t swivel or vibrate. I don’t care. I wanted simple comfort for a minimal price.

Pretty solid and easy enough to assemble. A comfy chair for putting your feet up. However, if you’re buying for an elderly person keep in mind that it takes a decent bit of strength in order to fully raise the chair back up from a reclining position
