My wife tried one of these out in a store for our home office before we needed to start working from home. So when we both needed to start working from home, and we couldn't get to any stores anymore, I tried her chair out and decided to get a second one for myself. This chair is great value for the money, in terms of comfort and sturdiness. It was super easy to put together, and doesn't put my anything to sleep like my previous chair did. The wheels move smoothly across carpet that should have been replaced 2 presidential administrations ago, and it fits nicely under my small cheap desk that we also got right before everything happened. My only complaint about it is that the arms don't adjust at all. They're just a tiny bit too narrow for me to be able to cross my legs comfortably.     • Takes some muscle to attach back to seat.
This would have gotten a higher rating had it not been overly difficult to attach the seatback of the chair to the seat. I am a 66 year old woman and realize my strength isn’t what it used to be, but that part of the assembly was almost impossible. All else was really easy. I finally muscled it into place but almost had to give up. The chair is really nice looking, sturdy and comfortable. Sleek, modern, comfortable, affordable office chair for the modern office. I just opened a real estate brokerage and needed office chairs that match my high end modern design but didn't want to spend a ton. These are perfect! I already had two of these for over a year and they have held up well.     • Comfy and Sturdy!
I was one of those people who went to Office Depot and sat in the chairs until I found one I liked and this one had an exact copy (only in Grey which was fine by me) on Amazon for a third of the price. I was sceptical due to bad reviews of damaged parts, but I am beyond happy to have made this purchase! When it arrived I looked for any damage and there was none to be found, also the parts were sturdy! Wheels are usually on plastic bases but these are metal and just in case you have any trouble getting them fully into the base, a little WD40 goes a long way! Got them in with no problem after that. It is super comfortable but it really would benefit from extra lumbar support as that was the only real lacking quality I have dicovered.     • I believe that someones retlurned chair was sent to me.
The box that the chair came in was definitely opened up before and taped back together. This is why I believe mine was a return. I hired a handyman to come today to put the chair together. One of the metal brackets on the back of the chair was bent out of shape. He bent it back so that the chair would fit together. Then we noticed the cuts in the chair. There is one in the back in the leather that we noticed 1st and then we found a couple more on the side of the chair. I am very disappointed in the condition of the chair. I would send it back but I need the chair, and I had to pay the handyman to put it together. I would take a picture and send it, but I don't know how to do that. If you need a picture let me know and I will have a friend come over and do it. I was with the handyman the whole time and I am positive he didn't damage the chair. ... show more

I recently went to Office Depot and sat in every chair there at least 2 times to try and find the perfect office chair at an affordable price. I kept gravitating back to this chair, however the price tag was $159. I decided to check out amazon and saw it for less than $100 (gray option only, black and white more expensive), so I instantly ordered it. I was hesitant that maybe it was not the same chair, or not as high of quality, however it was identical to the chair I wanted in-store. Very comfortable, provides back support, easy to set up, very good quality. My cat is also obsessed with this chair, I leave for 1 minute and she's on it. Highly recommend!! ... show more

    • Good chair for someone small but manufacturer stats are incorrect
This chair is a good chair with a solid metal base. It's also easy to put together. The main problem is that the manufacturer stats are a lie. Most websites, including Office Max, that list the seat measurements say that the seat is 27" x 23". However, this is simply not true, not even close. The seat is approximately 20" x 20". If you are a big guy or girl (and I don't just mean heavy), you will find yourself feeling squeezed between the two arm rails with your legs barely having any room to move. If you are small or little, then this chair is a high quality chair. However, I had to return mine due to the huge discrepancy between the false manufacturer stats about the size of the seat and the real stats of the chair. ... show more
