I received this clock as part of the Vine program. For those that are not familiar I basically received this clock for free to test and review. I've had it for a few weeks now and so far I love it. It not only looks good but seems very accurate and the interior gears move slowly and give it a cool steam-punk or retro look. The clock takes a few batteries, one to keep the time and two for the gears to move. You could display the clock without the gears moving so it will still keep the time. The clock can be placed on a mantle or any flat surface but also be hung on the wall. The only complaint I have is the $90 asking price. Yes, it is a nice looking clock but I honestly would not pay more than $40 or $50 for it. Overall I think it is a cool looking clock just a bit overpriced IMO. But if you like the way it looks and like the gears moving inside feature then it may be worth it to you.

The media could not be loaded. I've had this clock for a couple weeks now and it's keeping perfect time. My wife and I find each other standing and staring at it for long periods of time and can't explain why, lol. It's kind of therapeutic, with the gears visible so you can watch them turning. We hung it on a wall but you could use the accompanying stand to sit it on your desk. I know better because if it was on my desk, I wouldn't get a lot of work done. I can't explain how fascinating it is to just watch those gears turn the time forward.

I hung this clock on the wall near my front door and so far I have had several people comment on it when they walk in. The rotating gears really catch your eye and are pretty cool to see. The gears themselves have no bearing on the operation of the clock, they're just for show but really cool The clock keeps good time and so far hasn't lost or gained any. It looks great and is very sturdy.

While I like that the clock can sit or be hung, my intent was to have it sitting. Because of that, the included base appealed to me. I really struggled to select a color but landed on one that I felt would go more universally with our decor. The clock itself is really cool. The gears themselves move which adds visual interest. The base is a wood patterned sticker with the company logo plastered across… on both sides. If it was actual wood, it might have been tolerable but you can’t even turn the base around and escape advertising for the manufacturer. That’s the only disappointing part for me since it was intended to sit on a console.
