    • Great TV Stand and Fireplace - View the Instructions Several Times
I can't stress this enough, view all the instructions first. There are no written instructions just pictures. It took me one hour and forty minutes to put the item together, by myself. You do not need another person as long as you go slow, look at pictures (several times) and take your time. The fireplace insert is heavy, folks might need help with that piece. There was a bad chemical smell once you open the boxes that lingers around. Pull all the pieces out and move the boxes and packaging material to the outside. I gave this item 4 stars because one piece came with a nick in it, some flat white paint will tackle that and several of the pieces look like they only received 1 coat of paint again paint will fix that. But I shouldn't have to repaint or repair the item. The flame is artificial but adds a very nice touch. The heater, wow that thing cranks out the heat and it was on the lowest setting. Not bad to put together. I did it by myself in short increments over three days. Comes in 3 boxes and they are very heavy. The whole thing is done with an allen wrench other than a couple parts that need a standard screw driver. There is one point where you have to fit your arm through the small door in the center piece and it gets a little awkward tightening the bolt that way. Heater does get very warm! Love this TV stand with fireplace! It makes the living room so much more cozy and enjoyable. The ambiance is nice without the heat. When needed, The fireplace provided the right amount of warmth on cold mornings, even in the springtime. I would highly recommend this item. Exactly what I was looking for! Clear instructions. For the very high price of over $800, it would have been much better if we hadn't had to put it together ourselves, with nothing but pictures to match up with what screws went where. Also a little right angle "screwdriver" sent with it, was the only tool we could use because the heads of them wouldn't fit a regular screwdrivers! It was not easy to figure out the pictures that were drawn. It took 3 days to finally get the job done! The "Real Flame" insert doesn't look like a real flame at all. Too orange and the flames don't go very high when turning the remote up all the way. Not happy with it, but taking it all apart to return for a refund, is more trouble than I want ro go through. So we're stuck with it, unhappy, and have to see the fake looking flame if we want some warmth. NO ELECTRIC FIREPLACE IS WORTH OVER $800! Its made of fiber board, there's nothing that adds up to that price on it. BIG RIP OFF! Very Unhappy. ... show more

Very good quality and pretty. I saw a lot of reviews saying it was small. In my opinion, it isn’t small...it’s just not very high! My husband is going to make a base to raise it higher a little. But other that that, it is gorgeous!!
