Bought the chair during prime days for my desk setup. Going back to school and occasionally work from home so needed a good desk and chair cause I’ve been using my kitchen table! Chair was very easy to assemble by myself. I love that the handles fold up. I’m nuerospicy and can’t sit like a normal human so the folding arm rests were a must. I’m really liking the foot rest as well. I bought the drafting chair hoping to use it for both my desk and my dining table that is at bar height. Works perfect for dining table. At the lowest setting it was just a couple inches too high for the desk but I just raised the desk up to work with the chair because I prefer the slightly higher desk anyways. (You can see my wood block risers in the picture LOL) Just keep that in mind it might not go short enough for a standard desk height. Otherwise it’s been great. The only thing I don’t love is I find the fabric on the chair a little rough against bare skin so I either avoid shorts or put a blanket down. But that might just be a sensory issue for me! ... show more

I got this chair because the one I had was too low for me to reach comfortably when my desk was at its lowest level, and I wanted something that would easily support my desk at any height. I read a lot of reviews about similar chairs and settled on this one for a couple reasons. First, the price was pretty decent, especially considering this is my 3rd chair in as many years (because I have yet to find THE ONE). Second, the reviews for this chair were mostly positive. Having had the chair for all of one day, I can say that it's good so far. Easy to put together, probably took me about 20 minutes with the help of my 9yo. The foot rest is a little wobbly even as tight as I could get it, but I think as long as you aren't putting full weight on it time and again, it is OK. The only thing I don't care for is the arm rests, I like to have them flipped up/back, but they don't go all the way back so kind of stick out a bit. Not a huge deal. For reference, I am 5'3" and with the chair mid-height, my toes do not touch the floor. ... show more

I generally fear starting the assembly process for new furniture because it so often turns into a nightmare. But this chair was SO EASY to put together! It really makes a huge difference when manufacturers take the time to smartly package parts and provide clear, simple instructions. Granted, there weren’t that many pieces, but still, I was impressed. And the end result is quite comfy, looks great, and feels very sturdy. Great value for the price. Only quibble might be that back is not adjustable to lean back, but not a big deal all things considered. Would highly recommend. ... show more

This was easy to assemble and a nice chair overall. I do have trouble using it at some of the higher heights because I didn't check the seat depth. I have a larger bottom, so when I try to use it at higher than average heights I slide out. Also I'm not able to use the back support very well for the same reason (I need a longer seat so I can fully sit back). When used at regular desk level it's fine, and for the pricepoint it works. Got one for me and my husband. He's thinner so doesn't have the issues I experienced and the seat depth works for him. So sharing in case you have hips and a butt that needs extra space. Opened box to find a neatly organized set of screws and bolts with hex. Each piece of chair was heavily wrapped for protection, they did not skimp, even a little, on protecting the item. The only thing missing was the actual instructions. Came onto Amazon and followed the video instructions. Took less than 20 minutes to completely assemble and test out. I can fit under my desk at the low setting, then raise up while rolling across the room to the countertop. Rolls great, easy to reach raise and lower lever by dropping right hand down and bending a tiny bit. The back is mesh and air flows through, love the lumber support when I lean back to stare blankly at the ceiling, I have no fear of falling over, it is just that sturdy. The footrest takes pressure off the lower back and is also very sturdy. The seat cushion is just right, not overly padded reducing the risk of serious butt sweat but padded enough that I'm not constantly regretting my youthful shenanigans that brought on early onset arthritis in my hips. The seat cushion is also short enough that my legs don't stick straight out when I sit back in the chair, which makes me feel more like a real grown up. The color, blue, is cheerful and the white plastic armrests should be easy to clean with a Clorox wipe. ... show more

I'm not kidding when I say this was the 4th and last chair I purchased. Yes. I put them together and tried them only to have to dismantle and return them for whatever reason. This chair is awesome because I'm 5'1" and I couldn't find anything to fit me properly. I have no problem sitting in it for hours working in my craft room. I really like the back lumbar support, it's the best one out of all the chairs that I tried. I had a back injury 20 years ago so this is important to me. I first bought the same chair thinking it went high enough but it didn’t. So I bought this one. It is exactly what I wanted because I was looking for a higher desk chair. It was easy to put together and it feels solid. Have been using it for several weeks now. My only complaint is that is started to make squeaking noises. I tightened everything up but still can’t find where the squeak is coming from. When I’m busy I don’t even notice it. Oh well. Would buy again.
