  • Just know that computer chairs are a complicated topic.. Just know that computer chairs are a complicated topic..

This Razer Iskur chair is overall a very nice feeling chair. The overall feel of the chair is nice and will feel like quality, but I wouldn't describe this as a premium chair. It's somewhere in the middle, but it's carried pretty hard by the brands name. I think depending on your body size and shape, you could probably get a better chair for less, or if you want to spend just a little more you could also get something that works better for you. At the end of the day, chairs are like shoes or mattresses - best to try them before you buy them. Let's get into the specifics on this chair in particular. Starting with the packaging, it's a big box! You'll need help getting this one up the stairs. Once opened, you realize it's mostly assembled already so it didn't take too long to get it out together. As you put it together you'll come to realize most of the materials are high quality feeling. The leather on the chair feels nice, the stitching is good quality, the base and wheels feel sturdy. Once you get it put together and sit in it, that's where I start to notice some things that didn't work for me. Upon sitting in it, my first thought was - ouch my neck. It just sort of awkwardly floats with nothing to support it. As someone with a bulging disc in my neck, this is just a big no no. To the point I had to get a cushion attached to the chair to support that spot on my neck. This may be different for someone taller or shorter, hence why you should try before you buy. The lumbar support is okay. Not great, but pretty good. The arm rests are a little harder than I'd like and don't really adjust all that much. They really become useless when the back is reclined.. Which is a shame. The best part about this chair is the amount it reclined and locks into position. It's the one thing my other office chair doesn't do that I wish it did. This makes it really nice for long periods of time when you just wanna lay back. It's a nice chair, don't get me wrong. I just feel like razer is probably getting the benefit of the doubt with their branding. The value is not perfect, but I think most people would be happy with it. ... show more

  • Very comfortable chair, convenient reclining mechanism, but the armrests are wobbly. Very comfortable chair, convenient reclining mechanism, but the armrests are wobbly.
Color: Black/Green
Setup: Setting up the gaming chair was pretty to do by myself. There's big piece of paper which shows the instructions on how to assemble it all together. Having the instructions on one big piece of paper made it convenient to follow along as oppose to reading a booklet and having to turn the page. It took me about 40 minutes and I didn't have any notable issues along the way. Build quality: The build quality is excellent as it uses a 5 spoke design for the legs of the chair and the back rest uses 2 supports posts on each side of the chair that are made out of metal with big screws to keep them in place. Since all of the crucial support pieces are made out of metal, I feel confident that it'll last a long time. The reclining mechanism and handle are made out of metal as well and I can feel it lock it into place when I set the reclining position. Comfort + Reclining: I've been using this Razer chair everyday as I work from home and even after hours of continuous sitting my butt feels very comfortable. I don't have any pillows or covers on top of the seat and I've been very comfortable. The lumbar support isn't adjustable, but it sticks out perfectly fine for me to support my lower back. It's helpful when I'm sitting upward or laying all the way back. Reclining in the chair is one of my favorite features of this chair. On the right side , there's a handle that I can easily reach and just pull on that to be able to adjust the angle of the back rest. When I want to reset the back rest upwards again, I just have to pull up and the back piece would come back up. The spring that resets the back piece upwards is pretty though so I have to be careful as I raise it back up. Sometimes, I do like to lay all the way back, and sometimes I have even slept in the chair. I've never had issues or worries about the chair falling back as it's fully stable. There are 5 legs on the chair, that are equally spaced, which is useful so that I don't actually fall backwards when I'm fully reclined. The armrest are easily adjustable as I can move them up and down in 3 positions, and I can move them inwards, straightforward, or outwards. My only issue with the chair is that the armrests wobble a bit from left to right. When I'm sitting in the chair, I won't notice it as much. However, I do notice it when I use the armrests as support when I get in and out of the chair. Other than that, the chair is excellent. Overall, it's a great feeling and well built gaming chair. Setting it up as easy and it's well built as the crucial areas are made out of metal pieces and it's comfortable to sit in for long continuous hours. The only complaint I have is with the armrests having that wobble in them which is noticeable mainly when I'm moving to or from the chair. ... show more
