Heats faster than the 90btu by a wide margin. Install was by a licensed hvac company and glad I did. The old electrical had to be redone as well as the plumbing. Note to Hayward owners, the piping on this unit is not aligned the same (offset vs centered). also the electrical connects are much different especially if you have an older model or brand. Get a professional, it's worth the money. The unit is also fairly quiet compacted to the older unit which is also nice. What I don't like: the display panel is on the side with the piping, if you need to get to it you need to climb over plumbing, display itself is very dark and hard to read and the function selection is very old school engineering, I did not find it user friendly. The wireless control is a must for peace of mind and reduction in backaches trying to contort to read/use the display. I also found it a bit difficult to hook up the wireless but it might be me so I'll give it a pass. Once working the wireless app works just fine. The dealer was also responsive to my questions and shipped as promised. Fedex did puncture the box and caused a dent in the unit's outer shell during shipment but it was not serious enough to get involved. The Fedex delivery person btw was great and very helpful as he noted the damage and made note of it just in case. Also helped put in the garage as it was a day or two before installation. Overall a happy camper.

Heater was delivered May 11th…. But not installed until pool was opened June 20th…. Heater has never started never worked but since the 30 sat return window had closed I have a 4300.00 dollar heater that doesn’t work and the seller has my 4300.00! Amazon is not standing behind the product through their A-Z guarantee!!!
