This product was sent on Tuesday, installed by qualified electricians on Wednesday. The heater worked for two hours and stopped working, it would not retire and restart. I contacted Raypak and they sent someone out to fix the heater. I paid $2100 for working new heater and now I have a refurbished heater that is still in need of a part. The crew said they don’t know when it will come. So now it is July 21 and I still cannot use my pool. I didn’t purchase a refurbished heater I purchased a new one. I am very disappointed with this heater and company.

Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2026 by I was belfry fisappointed with this purchase. The first time I used it the handle came undone. It was very clumsy going up stairs did not work as stated. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It was not worth the money I paid for it.
Once I had it hooked up, it worked perfect the kids love going into a warm pool first heater I have ever owned. I would buy another one.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! We purchased this Raypak heater last July and had it installed in August 2023. We closed our pool on Labor Day and put the heater in the basement. We used it about 1 week this 2024 season and it stopped working. It is still under warranty but after dealing with the company for about 1 month, they are saying it is our fault and are not going to fix or replace the heater. Their customer service is terrible, their product is terrible and I give them a zero out of five stars. BUYER BEWARE!!!

driver deliver item to the front of my garage. it was completely wrapped in clear plastic plastic several times. I tipped him $10 . he was very friendly, and helpful. when I opened carton the heater was crushed at one end. it appeared to have been dropped although the outside cardboard seemed fine. it appears that the unit will work fine , but I'm worried that there might have been internal damage: like a broken curcuit board. thx

I was in the swimming pool business back in the 80s in the early 90s. Teledyne Laars was the cream of the crop. For the money this is an incredible pool heater. I have a 27 foot round 17,800 gallon pool. With the temperature being 78° in the pool and not being much warmer outside the LP version raised the temperature two degrees an hour. I used to have a 175,000 BTU Teledyne Laars on a 30,000 gallon pool and I can honestly tell you it did not react as quick as this. I do have a 2 hp pump, which obviously re-circulates the water very quickly. I think a combination of that and propane supposedly burns a little hotter makes this thing a monster.

So disappointed with this. We received the heater and it never worked. When we reached out to the seller they referred us to Raypak and all the did was tell us to contact the service station people, which we did and out of all the ones listed only one serviced our area and they were 2 months out so we returned it. Returning it was a nightmare as it had to be dropped off at UPS which we do not have near us and trying to find one to take it was a joke. Highly disappointed with this item. And the service.
