This thing is amazing, crack the noodles, throw 'em in, put the spice packet in, fill the water to the line, microwave for 4min and they're perfect. Not too hard, not too soft. You can even add in frozen veggies at the start (just make sure they're under the noodles or on the side) and throw cheese on at the very last 30 seconds if you want. The handles don't get hot so you can grab it right out of the microwave, and it's easy to clean to boot! This is just a DREAM for me when I'm feeling lazy. Oh, and they're dishwasher safe.

It’s really simple: it does what it says it does. Sure other Tupperware would work but this is sized perfectly to fit the standard ramen squares from stores. I bought one almost as a joke in college because of how much ramen I ate and years later I lost it and promptly replaced it. 4 minutes and you get microwave ramen as good as stove top. Must buy for struggling students who may only have access to a microwave.

Normally when you boil instant ramen on the stove, sometimes you get the noodles right and they're soft but still chewy, and sometimes they're over-cooked and just too soft. With this rapid ramen cooker, it makes consistent tasting noodles every time. I've owned a set for years and I just bought another 2-pack for my nephew in college (it's a staple). Not a slight, but if I had to add one thing, when you're finished with this, you might want to add some hot water to your noodles because it doesn't take much water to get this to work, but I find some hot water after the 4 min, makes the ramen taste less salty.

The thing does what it says it'll do - It assists you in making a block of dehydrated Ramen Noodle soup in the Microwave, rather than having to use a sauce pot on top of a stove. But frankly? A large plastic Tupperware would do the same task. I'm serious. Granted, this thing is sturdy... It's heat resistant while holding your hot soup (so you won't burn yourself), and it's large enough to hold a lot of liquid (which works for me, because I love a lot of broth). However... Unless I start with boiling-hot water, and nuke it for 4 minutes (rather than 3), my noodles are still stiff and need additional time. It's an over-priced Sturdy Plastic Bowl. That's it.
