Initially I thought it looked and felt cheap. I should’ve read the reviews. I’m not sticking my mouth on something that’s other end is in a fire, that’s just me though. Poking and moving firewood in a suburban fire pit shouldn’t be too much even for this thing. The next time I do the driveway campfire routine I pay close attention to the performance and do an update!

Great for camping. Pole is in 2 pieces and fits together with a click n can be undone for storage. Pole is hollow so it can allow air to be blown onto struggling fire. Poker hook is blunt and is sturdy for shifting heavier pieces. Rubber grip insulates well to prevent your hand getting hot.

I have a portable fire pit that I use when camping with the scouts. I wanted a poker that was both long enough but able to break down to put in the bag with my fire pit. This is perfect. Bonus it has the ability to blow air in your fire if needed. Awesome product!

I mean, I suppose you can't screw up a metal stick...but I'm worried the end is hollow and not sealed. So when you put it in the fire, it's going to collect stuff! I'm no scientist but I'm thinking that could cause me to have a fire stick! We shall see.
