Two years ago, I purchased the 400CFM version from Amazon, and it has been running smoothly. Recently, when the upgraded 800CFM version became available, I decided to make the switch. The 800CFM model shares the same dimensions as its predecessor but offers significantly more power. While the noise level is somewhat loud, it is within expectations for a unit with twin fans. The installation process is straightforward, although the manual is quite basic. Notably, the customer service is impressive, responding to emails promptly—even at 10 pm PST. They promptly sent a free replacement bulb for one that was not functioning properly.

This is a great product so far.. just installed it yesterday. Replaced my broken microwave which was 300 CFM and barely did its job but this one 800 CFM sucks out everything especially my Indian curry chicken and fish fry smell is gone within minutes. Only problem was the installation was not well explained and no template to screw holes from so it took some struggle to get it installed.

This is a great product. With the two fan system. It definitely sucks everything out of the house while you’re cooking. There’s only two bad things I have to say, one is the lighting isn’t bright enough. Also, it is rather loud. But I like it, because it does a fantastic job.

Impossible to install alone. No mounting brackets for top or bottom. Does not mount like an OTR range. Installation is near impossible alone. - Template for holes is useless / inaccurate. Does not come with any mounting brackets. Does not have bolt holes llke an OTR microwave. Installation is very difficult due to panel only have slide hangars like on a power stripe. You cant easily get your hands on the back bolts to tighten them, better have needle nose pliers. Very Very Very difficult to install. UNIT IS ALSO HEAVY Fans are loud but work good. LED Clock on the front of the fan is as bright as a flashlight with no way to dim.

It's made of decent stainless steel, the touch buttons are responsive. The LEDs could be a touch brighter, the fans are somewhat loud, but it moves a decent amount of air. My biggest gripe about the product is the included mounting anchors, they're hot trash. If you plan on mounting this underneath a cabinet, use some 1/4 bolts and wing nuts. This thing is fairly heavy and drywall anchors simply don't cut it.

As far as quality and workmanship goes, this hood is extremely well made. As far as the light and fan settings go....it looses a 5 star rating. Every stove I've ever seen has a clock, so this clock is a duplicate that's not needed but I knew it had one when I ordered it. The led display is extremely bright to the point were it's annoying, at 75% of the brightness, this would be sufficient enough. The 2 selections of brightness for the led hood bulbs is also a drawback. The low setting is like a night light and the high setting is nowhere near adequate to light up the stove cooking area. BTW, these bulbs as far as I can see cannot be replaced. There are 2 separate fans that are controlled independently that I feel contained in a small area makes no difference in the performance of the ventilation. It only adds to the confusion for the controls. When the light and the fans are turned on together and when you want to turn off the fans, the light goes out as well which is really poor planning on the development for this unit. Also, when you press to turn off the fan on the first push, it goes into a timer 60 second shut down delay, press it 2x and then it goes off. The panel is just plain stupid and not user friendly, really surprised considering the overall quality. If you still decide to purchase this hood, take it out of the box and plug it in...this display panel may work for you as everyone has different opinions.

I mainly purchased this model for the rounded corners. Where my stove is situated, my family would’ve constantly smacked their heads into a sharp corner. It works well so far. The bright light is a welcome change from not having a hood and the power levels are good. I didn’t have a manual…I thought maybe our contractor threw it out but, upon reading the reviews, perhaps it didn’t come with one. The seller has listed how to set the clock in the listing and that’s all I was really missing. Except maybe a warranty?
