  • Awesome warranty coverage
Style: 12 inch/2 burner/220V/sensor touch
I've had this Cooktop as a daily user for three years now and it works great. Possibly due to my heavy use, the first started experiencing a glitch with the back burner. I contacted the supplier on the day my warranty expired expecting a hassle about my time being up, but instead I got an immediate reply, and 5 days later, on nothing but my description of the malfunction, a replacement unit on my door step. With that, I'm now debating ordering a second unit to expand my kitchen and put it side by side with the original, having two separate cooking surfaces. Great job y'all. Thank you. ... show more

  • Karinear 30" Electric Cooktop
Style: 30 inch/5 burner/220V/sensor touch
We had to replace our old cooktop due to a severe thunderstorm. A tree on the main road bounce multiple times off power lines causing high voltage surges that fried the cooktop's electronics. We went to the area stores that sell appliances and none of the stores stocked the cooktops. Most of the stores we would have to order and wait 10 days for delivery. So we took a chance and ordered from Amazon. The Karinear cooktop was more than $300 less than the store brands. The cooktop arrived 3 days after ordering. The packaging was sound and there were no issues with the delivery. The cooktop installation was simple with no issues. As long as your counter top opening is parallel to the backsplash and has at least 3/16" on all sides it will be a simple drop-in and the sideclips on the cooktop will hold it in place. The low height off the cooktop allowed me to place a standard cabinet with a drawer with no modifications. The co cooktop's additional burner is great if you need a very large kettle to straddle two burners to boil water for bottling preserves. We have been using the cooktop for 3 months and had three similar issues with trees bouncing off the power lines creating surges. We have had no issues and are happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • Works well, annoying lock
Style: 12 inch/2 burner/220V/sensor touch
This is our second or of these that gets a ton of use up at our cabin. The lock feature is quite annoying, and when I dropped a cast iron Dutch oven on the first one and cracked the glass, I looked for a similar model but without the lock feature, but they all must be required to have it. So I went back to this model since we liked everything else about it. My husband installed it himself, since we’re in a remote location, and thought we’d gotten a defective one, because it was working but would only get lukewarm. But before sending it back, he experimented and discovered he’d switched 2 wires, so be aware if you run into a ‘lukewarm’ issue. So overall we’re pleased, just wish we knew how to disable the lock. ... show more

  • I really like this stove!
Style: 30 inch/5 burner/220V/sensor touch
The stove has the metal edging to reduce possible breaks, it's easy and safe to operate. I had a question for the seller and they were stellar to work with.

  • Only lasted 5 Months
Style: 30 inch/5 burner/220V/sensor touch
We loved this stove top and it worked great until it didn't anymore. In just one night all of a sudden, while cooking on it, it started to smell like something was burning and it shut off and will not turn back on. It only lasted for 5 months!

  • American Review (Updated 1/25)
Style: 30 inch/5 burner/220V/sensor touch
After reading the reviews before purchasing I thought this stove would work fine. Granite, some of the reviews are in different languages and one did say that the stove top would shut off automatically after just a few seconds of being on. I went ahead and bought the stove top and ran into the same issue with the stove top turning off. I came back to Amazon to check the specs and much to my surprise I saw the info say, if in America, not to worry, an alternative wiring diagram is provided. I’m no electrician but don’t feel like a simple hardwiring of a stove should require me to call one. But I also don’t feel like getting foreign electrician tips from Amazon and/or a foreign brand. Needless to say, I returned the stove to play it safe and get one that doesn’t require wiring that could possibly not pass an inspection somewhere down the road. The stove top is sleek and modern and affordable compared to what I’ve been able to find at Home Depot, Cons, etc., however, it just didn’t work. Best of luck if you’re in America and congrats if you can get it to work. Update: The supplier responded back to my review so out of respect I’m going to provide an update. First off, the unit was wired correctly based on the standard wiring diagram provided. However, the shutting off of the burner issue still remains. Apparently, this model of stove top is supposed to turn off after the first few seconds. Then it will turn back on but then back off again. This process will repeat with the on-time increasing and the off-time decreasing until the burner just stays on full time. With that said, based on the other reviews, I can see how this can extend the wait time to boil water. The unit we did choose to go with, which I believe we got from Home Depot or Lowe’s, doesn’t have this this “issue” but it also came with a rapid boil feature and cost about $500 more. It also didn’t come with a 5th burner, though it’s rare that we use all 4 burners anyway and are in need of a 5th one. In conclusion, you’ll just need to ask yourself, what matters more? The time you spend waiting for water to boil or $500. ... show more
