Although it was advertised as 30" cook top, the opening on counter top has to be cut. After cutting almost 1/4" of solid surface, it did not drop into the opening because the height was slightly longer than the inside of the standard cabinet! I had to cut 1/4" on top of the left side of the cabinet on the top so it can fully drop into the opening. This unit is not designed to fit into standard cabinet. Glass top stove packaging was great to avoid any damage, easy to install with basic electrical experience. This product was a very nice affordable replacement for the old one I had a quit working.

This was to appease a mother-in-law. She hasn't spoken to me since the install 1 month ago. So either, it isn't working and she is angry, or it is working and she is happy'ish. Either way, she isn't bothering me, so I'm happy. As for the unit, it was working when I left.

The glass top was warped, and will not sit flush with my countertop. The buying process for our house took a little longer than expected, and I am past my 30 days therefore, they will not being honest company and return it when they sent me a warped product.
