I took a chance and bought 5 of these for a "ukelele class" in our homeschool this year. (4 new ones on sale, one "used, like new") No regrets. These are AWESOME. Not too expensive, but REAL ukeleles, not just toys. Keep tune really well, (ukes have nylon strings... retuning often just kinda comes with the territory...), have endured clumsy littles dropping them, bumping them, etc. Case is well made, strap works nicely, tuner is accurate so far as I can tell! Overall, I've been very impressed! Not a professional quality, but that's not what I was looking for - I was looking for a starter instrument, not a toy, but a real ukelele my kids could learn on. This one exceeded my expectations!

I am a musician of more than 30 years and am picky about my instruments. That said, this is a lovely little use, well-made and sturdy. It stays in tune well and has a sweet resonant sound. There are probably ukes out there with stronger sound, but this is perfect for personal entertainment and a great buy for the money. I got my boyfriend to buy this for me for Xmas and was able to smoothly play about four chords after just a couple hours with it. I used the chart that accompanied the instrument as well as a You Tube channel for beginners. There are some lessons online that are included, but I haven't explored that yet. I look forward to being able to entertain myself and others with this pretty little portable music maker.

Beautiful Ukulele. Sounds great once you’ve got it all tuned up and broken in. I took the strap pegs off because it’s light enough you don’t need a strap, and if I do I’ll just get the kind that clips into the acoustic hole. I name my instruments as a lot of people do, so I’ve named mine skinwalker as in skinwalker ranch. (Get it? Lol) the gig bag is also really good quality. I thought about giving the ukulele only four stars because of the tuning pegs facing the back because I’ve always heard that it untunes quicker if the pegs are not on the sides, but I haven’t had any problems with untuning so 5 stars it is. I’ve only had it for a week. I’ll give an update if anything important comes up as well.

I did read all the reviews. I'm only a beginner but the strings make awful noise. If I strum softly the strings sound fine but if I try anything harder the seem to make a vibrating type noise. I was told the strings need to be higher. I could try a higher NUT. The strings would be high up. So I wouldn't buy again. I can't return it because it's past 30 days. I would try a different brand. That's what I'm going to do.

for over half a decade i had a small soprano ukulele. i decided to try out a different kind of uke, and this one was worth every penny. it sounds so crisp and the range is really great. this uke is also good for people who want to get into ukulele. i love it so much :)
