This cover is perfect for my raised garden bed. I’m a beginning gardener so I get excited when something works. It easily popped out of the case. Now, I did have to jigger it so it would stay - wind blew it off almost immediately. It protected my little greens from the TX ice storm. I was pleased to see this, and got it to use to extend the season for my herbs and vegetables. When it arrived, I found that, although the idea is good, the execution is lacking. The materials are not very sturdy, there are no secure tie/stake-downs, and one needs to be very careful when unzipping the 'door' to prevent ripping. At just under $30, it is overpriced for what it is, but would be worth it for better quality materials. ... show more

This cover is made from a thick plastic that has an enclosed netting between 2 layers of plastic so it is pretty thick and heavy duty. It isn't going to protect plants from damage from a snow, but if you are looking to protect from light frosts, this cover will work. I live in the deep south and have used it to protect my dwarf banana and pineapple plants from totally dying back from the severe cold we've had this winter. If you want a heavier protection, you will need to use some sort of heat source such as a candle in a terra cotta pot inside the enclosure. It is only 16" tall so unless your plant is small/short, it won't extend your growing season. It will fit perfectly in a 4' raised bed. The picture I've posted shows it in a 6' bed. It comes with 4 tent stakes to hold it down, but I used longer heavier duty stakes to protect it from the high winds. The zipper front is great for air flow on warmer days or access to the plants inside. After use, it folds flat for storage. ... show more

greenhouse cover comes folded up like one of those windshield sunshades which is actually pretty handy. Except lol I accidentally unfolded it. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to f folded back into it’s nice convenient shape,. I think my husband may have bent it out of shape a little bit by trying to fold it back. I might be able to force it back into shape, but that’s unfortunate. That said, it’s a pretty handy little structure. Once you unzip both ends and pop it into place, it becomes a nice 3D shelter that should add some insulation because it has that insulated greenhouse material and help extend your growing season — without blocking too much sunlight. It’s not huge (maybe around 2 feet tall by 3 or 4 feet long and a foot and a half wide? but check the listing). Still, it’s a great size for a few plants or seed trays. Or especially to protect your plants that are hard to move and load to the ground for like a day or two of inclement weather depending on your location. It zips up on both ends, which keeps it secure but also means the only way to access your plants is by unzipping one side — no little windows or flaps. Minus one star because I don’t think enough garden stakes included. The ones that come with seem really easy to bend out of shape, but if you’re putting it in regular garden soil and there’s not a lot of wind, it’ll probably hold. All in all, a very useful pop-up greenhouse — just treat it gently, follow the instructions, and be an origami expert or good instruction follower when you put it away. ... show more
