Thanks to previous reviewers for accurate posts. This pole replaces a wood pole I purchased on Amazon that broke apart from the wind. The Wood slowly deteriorated, but the plastic sleeves used to hold the flag were even worse. This pole is much much more sturdy. I like that you can adjust the length by using or not using all the sections. Mine is full length at the moment, but I plan to remove one section because my flag gets caught on a coach-light when the wind blows. I think this wont happen If the pole is shorter. The black looks really sharp and happens to match the coach-lights I am trying to avoid. The metal rings that hold the flag and spin to avoid the flag wrapping around the pols are really well made and the kit included an Allen wrench so you dont need any additional tools to put the pole together. Very well made item. Wish I had purchased it years ago.

The product is well-made and easy to assemble. I got it in black and looks quite nice. I gave only four stars because the instructions are virtually microscopic. I needed a magnifying glass to read them! Because of the unreadable instructions I didn't notice that there are two set screws on each "loop" bracket. I just saw the larger one. Make sure both screws on each bracket are tight. Otherwise the loops will bind up and won't spin properly. That results in the flag wrapping around the pole . . . and the product not meeting expectations. Finally, the complaints about the pole not holding up in a strong wind might be accurate. However, using stronger material for the pole such as thicker metal could make it too heavy to handle. To add strength to the flagpole, I went out and purchased two 36" long, 3/4" thick wooden dowels to put inside the tubes. Now, the flagpole holds up nicely in heavy winds. It's also light enough to put up and take down each day.

Great value for your dollar. Solid mount and pole. Dimensions are precisely as listed. Swivels do keep flag from tangling as much in a heavy breeze. Installed in under 30 mins with a power drill. I do not recommend using screws they send with it as they break extremely easy when using a drill. I had a few 2" construction T20s laying around but overall i feel like this thing was actually made to last.

Not the best quality. It claimsbto be thickened stainless steel but feels more like aluminum. I ordered the black one and it easily scratched. when installing the rotating flagpole rings and properly securing it to the pole, it’s easily bent the pole. I didn’t bother sending it back for a refund as it was in poor shape. I simply threw it away. I do not recommend this product.

My previous pole was wood and the top ball split and was falling apart. I bought this to replace the wooden one and it went together nicely and so far it has been easy to switch flags. It is smooth and hopefully more durable than the wooden one.

We’ve been using this with a suction holder for my car window. We have a 3’ x 5’ flag on it. Pole is very sturdy. Love the swivel clips to keep it from tangling.
