    • Seems to be well- made and the soft drip line tubing is adaptable to many pots.
The panel seems to be small, but it puts out plenty of power for the built-in pump and definitely makes the system automatic. The soft tubing is easy to shape around and through various plants- easily and the connecting adapters push in- easily. The settings are easy to see and program with the outdoors use being what it is built for. The pump being part of the solar panel means the unit has to be in sunlight- with the tubing running from it to the plants in their pots- nearby- on the porch or hanging under the eaves. I set this up at my mothers' front porch to help keep her plants watered when she is on vacation, etc. So far- this solar panel/ pump setup is working great and plenty of water is reaching her plants. The filter on the water inlet side- tubing, keeps the water clean of bugs, etc. and I put a 10-gallon plastic water cooler jug as the source, and this should last for a couple of weeks. I will keep an eye on it- but this unit is operating perfectly now! Great find! ... show more

You will need a water container. I didn't realize you couldn't hook it up to a water faucet/hose. I chose a 3-gallon stoneware crock for $53.84 on Amazon, so when it comes to the irrigation kit's value for the price, that has to be considered.

We will be installing our RAINPOINT Solar Auto Drip Irrigation Kit System in our south-facing planting bed, which gets plenty of sunshine but has an insatiable demand for water. This drip irrigation system gets water directly to the roots so we're not losing half of it to evaporation and runoff. Watering the roots but keeping the foliage dry also helps prevent fungal diseases, a serious concern for me and other gardeners. I needed some way to water my plants for a few weeks while I was out of town. This little solar drip irrigation worked great. It took me maybe a 1/2 hour to get it all set up and the grow lights are strong enough to power the solar panel. I love how you can configure it to exactly your needs, turn it on and then it slowly drips into the ground. ... show more

The solar drip irrigation kit is very easy to install and works great. It is especially good for pots. We have an area beside the walkway that this kit is perfect for. No electricity needed, so it’s a very easy setup and the plants will be much happier!

The media could not be loaded. Used it to water some newly planted blueberries instead of patio pots as suggested. It worked really well! Can see myself using it for multiple purposes! Pros: Very easy and quick to set up!
