I used this solar drip irrigation system throughout this past summer in my small backyard garden and it worked perfectly. I set it up with a large plastic garbage can with a lid so I only needed to refill it 1-2 times a week. The variable setting allowed me to select more frequent waterings during the height of the season, when the high heat could easily dry out your veggies. The set is very easy to set up, and I had many more pots connected than is noted in the product description. (I ordered an accessory kit with extra tubing and drippers to allow for the expansion.) I like that there's an audible beep when the water tank is empty, and that the pump does not run when it is empty. This setup allowed me the flexibility to travel without worrying about my garden - my house sitter only had to refill the water tank. The only thing I would improve is the indicator lights for the mode selected - it's very hard to see, especially when outside in direct sunlight. I highly recommend this solar drip irrigation system.

Like many of the solar systems we have gotten, they are very "inexpensive" in their build quality. It works, but how long will it work? Will it be consistent? These questions are usually what has been at the top of the list for items like this. It works. It's fine for a stop gap system but will it work for years? Doubtful.

I got this solar drip system to water my plants when I am on vacation. It’s works great! I have the water siphon from a 5 gallon tank. It’s great for watering the plants that are not near any water source and with the solar powering the pumps, you don’t need to be near a power source either. This is a great tool if you go on vacation a lot and don’t have anyone to come over and water your plants.

It works well for a single bucket but it just empties the entire bucket in one go versus being able to water a little every other day. And then when empty is just beeps and beeps.

Good product for areas you may not have a water source. Instructions are terrible, so, be patient if you haven't made up a like system before. The flow tends to vary by nozzle so watch and adjust as needed. Once set up seems to be working fine.

I have been growing beautiful strawberry plants because of auto-waterer. The device takes in the power of the sun and sucks the water out of my reservoir so that I don't need to worry about the plants getting water. It's wonderful. The pump is super quiet and after a few months of owning this unit I haven't had issues yet. I wonder if plant food will cause issues, let's try that next. The cable is long enough to hit all my plants, and there was an additional 8 feet. I could guess at total length, but I'm sure the description says it somewhere. I should also mention that if you have arthritis then you will have a hard time putting the water connections on because you have to use your finger tips to smash/squish/force the connections together. Overall very satisfied.

This was a great addition for our return to gardening. We haven't had a garden in a while, but we figured we had a rain barrel; why not try again? The setup was easy; if you can cut a hose you can put this together. I did my best to run the hose and wire along the garage siding, but I'll do something else next year as it didn't hold (that's on me). The pump delivered water reliably. The only thing that would be cool (re: cost more) is a probe that tells the pump to do its thing. With the crazy storms we had, there was too much water. I turned off the pump and that worked. For simplicity, I'd recommend this for anyone with a small garden.
