Description

The garden box drip watering kit is engineered specifically for automatic drip watering of one garden box of up to 64 square feet based on 12-in. row spacing. The kit features a 1-outlet digital hose faucet timer. The digital timer offers oversized features for ease of use, a manual rain delay option which conserves water, and programmable runtime and interval scheduling flexibility, with heavy-duty, weatherproof construction. The backbone of the garden box drip watering kit is 1/2-in. drip blank distribution tubing which carries the water in a rectangular circuit around the entire box and 1/4-in. soaker tubing which, when spaced 6 to 12 in. apart, forms a grid pattern that uniformly waters entirely beneath the plant canopy in a very efficient way.

I got this for my side yard, where I have a long strip to water. I was able to run the soaker hose pieces around each rose bush and back to the main hose. It was easy to assemble, but I wish that I didn't have to terminate the soaker hoses back into the main hose. I do really like the adapter that downsizes the hose though. It has good water flow. The quality is acceptable, but not top tier. Here's the scale I'm using for my ratings: 1 star= Nope! I do not recommend. It’s poorly made, or not what it’s listed to be. 2 stars = Has some redeeming qualities, would not buy again. 3 stars = Meh. It's passable. Might not be worth the price. 4 stars = Good, but there’s something off 5 stars = Yes!     • It's not what I would call a "soaker" hose, but it sort of works.

The "soaker" hose has small holes where the water sprays out. Some holes spray way past the plant intended to get the water. Other than that it works. Also it was hard to find the right size connector hose.

A very solid state product that covers the ground we needed watering very well and but was a little harder to get set up but 'm guessing my Old age may have something to do with that. It's still early but so far it functions just as advertised and it seems the battery life is well above average.. Should have watched the video from other customer. Came loose in the carton. Soaker hose fell apart losing 2 feet of hose. The soaker hose pours water out the tubing that did not fall apart. Timer leaks as well so I can not leave it on for the timer to work. Of course all the issues occurred after installing. ... show more
