I really like having a timer. the dual version helped me a lot while I was on vacation. It took a little practice to get the hang of setting it in the zone I thought I had selected, but it was simple to use after that. The main feature or setting that I wish it had is the ability to water, for example, at 9am and again at 1 pm. It can be set for every 4 hours, but I don't want it to water all day long, I just want to water 2 times in one 24-hr period. Also, where I have it located, it can be impossible to read the screen and set times or switch to manual with the sun shining on it, so maybe if I held an umbrella while setting it would help read it. Customer service was wonderful - I had trouble resetting manual mode to the default and then the screen stopped working - and I had a new timer sent to me within a few days.

Last year this timer worked great. This year one of the ports would not completely shut off. I contacted Rainpoint and they gave me a couple of things to try. After these procedures didn't fix the issue, they sent out a replacement. The timer itself is very easy to program and seems reliable once programmed. The buttons can be a little hard to press, but once you realize that, things are good. I've purchased quite a few RainPoint timer - single valve, double, and a quad valve this year. I'd buy more and recommend them

Rainpoint water timer is the best. It’s very easy to program and to use. They have an exceptional customer service, too. I immediately gotten the call back and they resolved the issue. I am 100% happy with the product and it’s the only garden sprinkler timer I recommend.

I've got a few single Rainpoint water timers so when I needed a double for my side garden this is what I went to. I've got pots side by side with tomatoes in a few and peppers and greens in another. The tomatoes need more water where I live so I needed two zones. This thing works perfectly. Easy to set up and easy to do a quick manual watering if I need to. Highly recommend!

Setup controls are very straight forward. Setting click and times is especially nice since you set the hours and minutes separately. The other unit I tried made you go through the whole 24 hour period which took longer than it should.

I already had the single outlet timer. Got another one with two outlets. Comparing it to others this is much better. Easy to operate and has a compact design. 5 stars.
