The media could not be loaded. I bought this because I live in San Antonio. If I miss a day of watering my plants will dry up. It works great! My plants are healthy and doing better than ever. I bought another one for the front of my house. Highly recommend. Super easy to install.

I installed this a few weeks ago so I could go on vacation and not worry about watering the plants. I don't know why I waited so long to install a drip system. No more standing around in the yard with the hose at dusk getting eaten by mosquitoes! This flexible kit worked fine for hanging baskets, potted plants on the deck, a small tomato garden and lots of flowers planted directly in the landscaping. I ordered two kits, one for the front of the house and one for the rear The emitters have pretty consistent drip rates and the lines do not leak if left alone after the initial installation. If you try to pull emitters or tees apart to change things, they tend to leak a little afterwards. This is mainly because it takes a great amount of pulling to break the initial watertight seal and parts get damaged. Just cut off the section you don't want and use new parts - they are cheap. Also, be prepared for some sore fingers and thumbs after pushing two kits worth of small fittings together. The timer is easy to operate and cycles reliably. When you set the cycle time, turn it to the reset position for a few seconds then turn it to the number of hours you need. The time of day you turn the dial from the reset position will determine when the water comes on. There is no clock to set. There is no backflow preventer or pressure regulator with this kit. The filter is just a fine mesh screen on the line connection. My house already has a regulator that is properly adjusted to 55 psi. I've had no problems with drip rate by not using a separate hose regulator. I suspect those that have no regulator and high water pressure might experience flow rate issues. I purchased the Raindrip 016010T 1/4" 100' roll of extra tubing to add on to these kits. I have at least 120 feet of tubing running off each timer and the pressure is still good at the end of the line. I couldn't be happier with all the time I am saving not having to water. Everyone that stops by loves the setup and wants to know where to get it. Don't tell too many people or you may become the local installer for the neighborhood.

I’ll start by discussing the Pros is this item. It is easy to set up. Only need scissors to cut the tubing for feeder lines. Took me about 2 hours or so to do 18 pots. I have a larger area. The concept is amazing and the fact that it comes with a timer is a bonus. Cost is about average, compared to similar products. Perfect if all of your pots are about the same size and need about the same amount of water. And it theoretically will save me an hour or more a day of watering as well as countless plants that haven’t survived a weekend trip. It’s nice to know the plants are getting water while I’m gone. Customer sevice was helpful as well Now for the cons: I have a variety sized pots, ranging from small hanging 8” to large 80# pots. In order to get enough water to the large pots, I have to almost flood my smaller pots. Of course, in hindsight, i should’ve considered that to begin with. This particular kit does not have different sized nozzle tips. It only comes with .5 gal/hr tips. On the plus side, i called customer service and they are sending me 10 2 gal/hr tips at no cost. The set up DOES NOT work properly if you remove the tips. Not enough pressure for a larger set up. I tried everything to get around needing different sized end pieces. The connectors for the main line and the feeder lines are plastic, which seems to be of good quality. But, don’t think it’s going to be easy to just simply change a couple connections around. It’s pretty secure. Which could also be a PRO, if you don’t make any errors :-) Consider what you’re application is before purchasing a kit. Just because it says container and pot, doesn’t mean it’s the correct product for optimal use. I should’ve gotten one with different nozzle tips for different gal/hr release. I give four stars because the kit title and images are very misleading. I have about four hours invested in mine so far. That’s including brain storming and trial and error to find a way to make this work for my application.
