This was a replacement for a worn-out shade I used to be able to get at Home Depot. I needed an 85" wide shade which is impossible to find off the shelf. I was able to cut it to width using a Miter saw. The other issue was nobody makes shades with drawstrings anymore but I was able to dismantle the pulley header from my old shade and fit it to the new shade since they were the same except for the cords. I have a feeling all these problems were caused by over zealous lawyers whose lawsuits make common items unavailable today. ... show more

Comes with the hardware to install. Since lattice is a little out if my price range at the moment, this works great! A little thin, but even if I get one Summer out of it, it's worth the $$.

I'm glad this shade is still being made. I use it outside and it gets full sun, and lots of wind on it. They enclose a metal tab to use for rolling up or down, but I use a length of cord to secure it rolled up.

Wanted a little privacy on our deck without breaking the bank. Paired these with lattice fencing and it worked wonderfully! Very happy with this purchase and price tag. They are not as โ€œsee throughโ€ as pics look - (taken w/ flash at night)

These blinds are super easy to install - they even give you some wiggle room so you don't have to get the brackets exactly in the right place. I think that they are definitely fine for the price, I'd try to get these on sale if I'm honest. The PVC tubes crack VERY easily, even from using the little clips to raise and lower the shades. If you live somewhere very windy, I wouldn't recommend these. They work great on my East facing patio to block some of the worst heat during the summer. They still let enough filtered light in for my plants. However, in the evening, you can see straight through them into rooms with lights on, so I wouldn't recommend these for privacy either. Sun blocking - 7/10 Heat blocking - 6/10 Privacy - 4/10 Ease of installation - 10/10 Ease of daily use (raise and lower shades) - 6/10, i find the clips very annoying Value for money - 8/10 ... show more
