This was a Christmas gift for my teenage daughter and it didn’t last a month. After maybe 15 hours of cumulative use, the screen started to flicker so badly that I could barely read the menu options to try and reset it. After attempting a factory reset there was no improvement, so that’s that. Fortunately it died within the return window - if I had bought it well before Christmas like a good parent I would have been out of luck. The device did have a good assortment of games, but the more advanced consoles like Nintendo DS seemed to be too much for the graphics card and chip speed to handle. The games were choppy and the screen would flicker (although who knows, maybe it was an early sign of my problems to come). If you stick to the classic 8-bit and 16-bit console games it seemed to work fine. One other nitpick is there’s no way to see the current battery state of charge. If you’re playing a game that needs to be saved the device will just power off without warning when the battery is low wiping out any game progress. It’s annoying but probably something I could have lived with.

I have a lot to say about this console. I'm a video game enthusiast, and this console has surprised me. Considering the price, it's really worth it. It has all the games you could imagine, especially if you were born in the 90s. I was surprised by how well it runs the games and its overall functionality. The battery lasts long enough to play for a couple of hours. The image quality is good for the price, and it doesn't tire your hands because it's the perfect weight to hold for several hours at a time. The build quality of the console itself is also good.

This console is worth every penny. Games are tremendously playable, great screen brightness and visuals, good sound. Tons of games, especially for Gameboy Advance that I can recall. A good number of the onboard game platform emulators provide over 1000 games, others between 100 to 300 games, a few less than a hundred. But there is a feature that allows you to download ROM files in a particular readable format. Online resources like the Internet Archive might be able to provide ROMS-- I looked up gaming ROMS on it and it listed some. The one drawback on my console is a soccer ball button at center of the console front. That button is a little wobbly like it might come loose, but it works fine to open a brightness control. I'm generally just leaving it alone. I did take the two year Amazon warranty for seven dollars, just because this is a generic console and I didn't know what I'd be getting. But it turned out mine was just great value for money. It has several Castlevania games, Zelda one and two, doom, Phantasy Star Collection, Mortal Combat games, old Pacman, Centipede, Asteroids, Xevious, and tons more big name games. Don't miss this one--just take the Amazon warranty and you'll be fine.

This retro console is perfect! I bought this as a gift for my spouse and he was hooked as he turned it on, bonus was that it came 90% charged so he didn't have to wait to try it out. I have since captured it to play Mario Cart and it was so fun getting to play these old games. It has a good battery life so far. The blue color I got was beautiful. So far one or two games have been in black and white but otherwise the quality of the games have been really good. Recommend this 10/10!! Full disclosure : I bought another one from another seller and it could not even turn on so I can attest this one is real and works well!

I really like the large screen of it, all the games have a high quality resolution and it's been great for travel, it keeps my kids entertained. The SD card came packed with so many games all of them running smoothly. Loved it made a great gift for my kids
