This book was a gift for my husband. He has found it to be very informative and is written in “layman’s terms”. Highly recommended for the individual who is trying to gain more info about cars but is not a mechanic.

There's nothing wrong with this book or the information on it. I think I was looking for something a little more in depth that talks to me in a way as if i know absolutely nothing. I need that kind of information because I'm a true beginner to cars in that sense. There's a lot of great information on this book though. I wish some of the pictures were more clear or obvious or maybe wider/multiple photos to show different stages of a process. Regardless, good book overall. Not a waste of money by any means. For girls, try to know all the basic auto repair knowledge. Don’t get fool by those business people. They mostly charge you twice more than males. So, it is necessary to know about the oil change, battery, and other little stuffs. This book is a right choice for beginners whom know nothing about the cars. Definitely helped give me some foundational knowledge about vehicles. I was able to change my brakes and rotors only using the internet for specs that are specific to my car! So so great, I cant wait to be able to fix more stuff on my car!
