I bought 2 tents, one black and one tan. This review is for the tan one which was less problematic. The black one was different, and I suspect is an older model, since the tan one seems to have some improvements. Overall, this seems to be a fine tent for the price; it is a low cost, heavy duty canopy tent. Quality control seems to be poor, but tech support is exceptional. Based on when they responded, it seems to be in china, but they were very responsive, polite and professional. Replacement parts were quickly shipped from a domestic supplier. One of the velcro taps in the canopy was sewn slightly out of position, which cause the seam seal to not fuse properly in one spot and peel off. They sent a replacement fly without any hassle. When set up, the legs seems to be spread outwards an inch or two. Because the edges of the panels are secured by 3 velcro straps on each edge, there are small gaps at the corners of the tent, especially near the ground. The feet have holes which can be used to stake the canopy down. There are also loops at the top corner of the fly which can be used with cords to provide extra stability. There are several improvements over the black tent. The buttons are better. The canopy fit better and did not pool water (which destroyed the black canopy frame). The velcro tabs were better placed and had more appropriate lengths. There was velcro at the corners of the frame to secure the canopy in place very well; Since it no longer relied on the hooks at the bottom of the legs to hold the canopy in place, the canopy could actually utilize the 3 different heights of the frame. The tent survived a week at a festival, which included strong winds and heavy rain. ... show more

Frame broke within 3 months of purchase. Recent update: I was contacted by the customer service department in regards to the original canopy breaking. The customer service representative was very professional and caring for my experience and they were more than happy to ship me a replacement. That level of customer service speaks volumes, looking forward to the replacement canopy arriving!! Second update: The replacement canopy arrived today and looks great!! I was hesitant to spend this much on a popup tent, since quality is often hit-or-miss, but I liked the idea of the attachable sidewalls. I bought this specifically for cooking our Thanksgiving turkey on a rotisserie which I thankfully completed before the collapse. The first signs of poor quality became apparent during assembly. One of the screws was missing on one of the expandable bars. I had to dig through my collection of spare nuts and bolts to find something that worked. I then noticed that two of the 4 red release buttons for the legs were missing. I eventually found them - and the springs that back them - lying in the bottom of the bag. But I managed to get the tent assembled. Although the product claims to be waterproof, I was skeptical after inspecting the fabric. It was very thin and did not seem to have a decent waterproof coating. Sure enough, when a light drizzle started, water seeped through to the underside of the fabric. At least it didn't drip. A couple hours after cooking the turkey, I heard a loud crash outside. I went out and discovered the tent had collapsed. Apparently the light drizzle had accumulated in one of the roof panels until the frame buckled under the weight. When I say buckled, I mean the metal parts literally broke. Note one of my pictures where you can see that the metal arm is torn. You can see traces of rust, too, which is not a good sign for a product that had been out of its packaging for only 1 day. I've set up many popup tents like this. I had everything pulled taught, Velcro pieces attached correctly, etc., so I'm not sure why this tent couldn't handle a little rain. What I do know is that I paid $175 for a shelter that lasted 1 day and for a 45-minute task to disassemble a mess of crumpled garbage so it could be thrown away. My recommendation: Do not buy this tent. I've seen much higher quality for lower cost. ... show more

I have used this canopy about 7 times now this month alone (all windy days). I set it up by myself and it was fairly easy. Quality is pretty good compared to the other two I tried and sent back before this one. One issue I had was the bag opens on the end and not the entire length of the bag, which makes it a little hard to quickly store it back in the bag. Another issue is I wish the walls were Velcro the entire length of all three sides and not the single 3-4 Velcro straps it has now. Also, this is not an issue with the canopy, but if your area is windy plan on getting weights. With the walls it stayed down pretty good, but with no walls it flew up just a little.
