  • Worked well with a fold-a-cover too
Color: Blue Size: (6.4'-6.7')Full Size Regular Bed
Bought this for a camping trip in the north woods of Wisconsin in late October. Not a lot of wind, but it withstood some rain and pretty cold temps. Overall, I really liked this. I used this on a 2014 Chevy Silverado with a standard bed. The unique challenge I had is that I have a 4-panel hard folding cover on the bed of my truck and I didn't want to remove it to install the tent. Folded all the way up against the back window, this cover extends about 4" from the front truck bed rail. The Full Size Regular Bed size tent fit with really no issues. The door hung off the tailgate but just by an inch or so, and I had to be careful with where the poles landed at the back edges of the truck, but the tent itself still worked great. Assembly was very easy, particularly with the color-coded poles and where they insert in the tent. NOTE: tie the top BEFORE you lift it onto the truck! Two people to lift it onto the truck is, IMHO, almost mandatory- it's simply too flexible and floppy to do it yourself. If I had to do it myself I would probably practice assembling it already on the bed of the truck, but that's gonna be challenging. No issues with the materials - everything was in good shape with no tears, fraying, etc. The rainfly was a bit challenging only because I wanted it to go over the fold-a-cover. Ideally, the tent and rainfly go over all three bed rails, but in my case the tent was in front of the bed cover, meaning any rain on that side of the tent would get funneled right into the truck bed. I solved that issue by sandwiching one edge of the rainfly between the back window of the trunk and the folded up cover. This resulted in about a foot or so of the rainfly not covering the tent by the door, but it worked beautifully in keeping rain out of my truck bed. I didn't really have a problem with water coming in the tent in the non-covered portion, either, unless I touched the wet sides. Before I use this again I may alter the rainfly by adding an extra 2 feet of length. Otherwise this worked great! ... show more

  • Cool, worth the price.
Color: Dark Blue Size: (5.5'-5.8')Full Size Short Bed
Bought the product for a camping trip in NH, and this tent was great! Can’t complain. It did the job I expected and actually fitted better and was easier to assemble than I was expecting.

  • WILL WORK WITH A 2016 SHORT BED TACOMA
Color: Blue Size: (5'-5.2')Compact Short Bed
Great tent does take a delicate hand. It would be easy to break the poles because you really have to put some pressure on them when setting up the tent, does take two people or I would strongly recommend two people and takes about 30 minutes to set up if you have not set it up before there is a learning process. It held up very well in the wind. I did not need to use the rain fly. it does have a lot of windows which is great. I did not get to use it this summer, but I used it in 20° weather and it was pretty cozy. Very easy to take down. ... show more

  • Good material, easy set up.
Color: Dark Blue Size: (5.5'-5.8')Full Size Short Bed
The media could not be loaded. Trent materiel seems like good material and thickness. lol holder locations are seen sight. Don’t tighten or try to adjust anything till you get everything set,. Really like that the enterior is also part of the tent, no bug, or rain will get into tent while camping. Zippers are all smooth. All and all, great little tent ... show more

  • Nice fit
Color: Blue Size: (5.5'-5.8')Full Size Short Bed
Hard to set up for one person, definitely need two people. The directions for the rain fly, was a little confusing. Said zippers to the rear, instead should have read zippers go on the sides, with zippers facing the rear. So that had me a little confused. But over all was a good item, and fits two people, very well with lots, of space in front for your gear by the door! ... show more

  • Terrible quality, don't trust their sizing guideline
Color: Blue Size: (5'-5.2')Compact Short Bed
I own a 2020 Toyota Tacoma, 5 ft. bed., and I verified from their fitting guide that they had my Tacoma to fit their product, the exact product shipped. I would not recommend for anyone with a Tacoma, and not for anyone in general. I set this up today with a 15-25 MPH wind going through my neighborhood. Which I was thankful for as this will inevitably happen IRL somewhere. I can't even count the number of times that I have camped and set up/torn down a tent. Initial Set Up: Set up was easy/peasy if you have ever pitched a simple dome tent. This tent has two extra poles, and one that goes inside the tent rather than outside, not rocket science. I would have set it up on the ground regardless of what the instructions say, but they do recommend doing so. Good on them. However.... Quality: The quality sucks. The poles should be a slightly larger gauge to keep the tent taught, and to support the weight of the tent when you lift it from ground into the bed. After all my efforts to get this tent to fit somewhat right, and giving up and taking down, the channels where the poles go through where already starting to tear. I assure this isn't because I was wrenching the tent around (coming later). The place where the wear was starting was in the pole that supports the opening of the tent, which ultimately will end up getting the most stress from going in and out of the tent. Even if this tent properly fit my truck, it wouldn't last more than a couple camping trips if you get weather or wind on one or more. I wouldn't seeing it last more than one for someone that has never pitched a tent before. Set Up Once in Bed: Even without wind, getting this into the bed was a challenge. The lack of stiffer poles makes it harder for the tent to hold shape regardless of how or what side you would lift from. Stiffer poles would solve this problem, period. After getting into the the back of the truck; trusting that this thing was supposed to fit my truck, I started off loosely using the anchor straps to keep the side of the tent down where the wind was coming from, which "worked", but once all straps were loosely tight, the fit was off. I spent about an hour adjusting this one, then that one, moving to the bed, back by the cab, put the awning up in case that keeps the roof a little stiffer or not. Inevitably I had to tighten one end or side down to try to get it to fit. This honest is the only stress I put on it (several times) but nothing carelessly that normal wear and tear would do. Price: I will say the upside was the price. I bought this against my better judgement with specific Tacoma forums simply for the awning. I regret that "upgrade". Return is in process and buying something else. ... show more
