Love the mattress and my joints are much happier! And it arrived a full 8 days earlier than the original delivery date. Yay!! BUT - some odd lifeform or other had evidently decided to reside on it, as I woke up the next day with what looked like itchy red bites on my arms and legs. I thought that that was rather strange, as the mattress is packed in two separate layers of plastic and both layers were INTACT upon receipt. I sprinkled a generous amount of food-grade diatomaceous earth on the entire mattress and let it sit for a few hours, then vacuumed it off. No problems after that. AND - I would caution that it would be better to have a second person during the unwrapping. I had no choice but to do it myself. The instruction sheet states that the mattress is eager to leave the confines of the plastic wrap. I like the tongue-in-cheek instructions (!) but "eager" is quite the understatement and I would instead describe it as "desperate" or even "wantonly flings" itself out of the packaging. And that it did! And it ended up being upside down since the mattress was rolled up with the top surface facing the outside of the roll. Thus, my bony old self was engaged with having to flip over a king-sized mattress (yup, you guessed it) by myself. And I have no idea which part of the mattress has "organic cotton" in it, as neither of the two tags sewn to the mattress reference the term, despite the term being printed on the top of the mattress. It's a five-star mattress in a four-star process. Quite comfy, though. ... show more

I got this for the kids bedroom the mattress after1 day measures 5 inches very flimsy no support on the sides and you can hear the springs squeaking with every move I laiddownand felt the springs no cushion. Don't buy if you are looking for quality or a matress that is needed for more than a year. This one will not last till the winter. ... show more

I bought 2 mattresses. I ordered the wrong size and did not know until I had already cut both packages open. I let my kids sleep in them for a night before I called the company. They loved them. They were awesome quality. The price was great. But they hung off of their beds. There was no way to return them because they were in NJ. This company was gracious enough to offer me 2 off the right size if I donated them to someone. So I donated them to a girl at work that needed them for two little boys. From the description, I had high hopes. Bought this for my 14-year old and even with extra mattress toppers, this mattress isn't working. The springs are very noticable and uncomfortable.
