    • Don't use the bungees
The product is as described. The cover and it came with 5 approx 9 inch long bungee cords. The cover itself looks fine and should do it's job (longevity over the winter will remain to be seen how well it stands up to the elements!). I wish they sold this in a slightly larger dimension. My AC box is 36" square. Installing the cover at a 45 degree angle (like the product photo) doesn't cover enough of the top of the box to shield from rain, so I installed it square and it's kind of skewed when installed. May be fine.. we'll see! My criticism is with the bungee cords themselves. The "plastic' Tip on the hooks is only a few millimeters in length and slide off waaaaaaay too easily. I lost half of them while installing it and.. surprise surprise, got a couple new scratches on my AC (I wouldn't probably care but it's only 1 day old!!!) At the price for a piece of fabric and bungee cords, I would expect this to be supplied with either plastic hooks or plastic-coated hooks. One other thing to keep in mind is I think these might rust with time, and could stain your AC unit. I tossed these crap bungees and will be using plastic hooked bungees. ... show more

I purchased this item to act as a dust cover for the Bora PM-8000 Portacube STR Miter Saw Workstation my husband bought for me to be able to easily move and use my Milwaukee cordless double compound mitre saw (yep, I’m a short chick). Love the saw, love the portacube, and love that this AC cover makes it easy to pop a cover over my nice saw and stand. The darker stripe at the bottom makes the bottom opening obvious, instead of it being a big ungainly mess for my short self to wrangle, and the quality of the fabric and stitching look great for the price. With the saw on top it comes down to near the top of the wheels which is fine for camping on the patio overnight during an extended day project. With the saw flipped under the work surface, it looks like it will completely cover down to the ground. It’s not a perfect fit since the cover is meant for a square, and the Portacube is a more rectangular shape, but I’m very happy with it until I manage to make or find a perfect fit since it does the job. As far as it’s intended purpose, I would not consider this to be an insulated AC cover, but sure it would work well if it was utilized in a less than arctic environment, or on top of some sort of insulation. Cover looks nice when new; i's a little thin for what it is supposed to be used for; I have to wait and see if it is durable that's why I did answer the durability question; I just got it.... I will let you know after the first winter...

This fits my condenser just fine and it's really all you need. It covers the top and alittle of the sides. I won't make the same mistake by covering the whole thing like I did before on my old unit. It rusted out parts of the old condenser by not getting an air flow.
