It has been a great mount so far. It is stuck to my motorhome dash with the included adhesive strip. The phone doesnt move around and once it is installed it doesn't come off. I have had other mounts and they won't stay stuck down, and can't handle summer heat.

Installed in BMW X5. This design is the best vent holder I have ever used and I have tried them all. It’s a plus that it works with the Quad Lock platform which I have now standardized on since using to secure my iPhone in my Indian Scout Rogue. I was hesitant to waste money on another vent holder as they rarely work and wind up in the junk draw. The reviews convinced me to give it a shot and… Wow. It’s great and rock solid. Like it was installed by my car guy. The unit let me perfectly position it right where i need it. I had the window mount before this one but it obstructed my view and was a stretch to reach. Get this and the charger top. Cry about the cost once and enjoy it every time you get in the car. I included a bunch of photos with different angles so you can see how mine is installed.     • Good mount but needs stronger adhesive tape

I have used quad lock mounts for a couple of years now on my motorcycle and this one seems just as good with the exception of the adhesive (double sided) tape, i ended up getting some better tape and it the mount works good now.

attempted to use this for my windshield and it absolutely will not hold suction. I even tried the mounting plate that comes with the unit on a flat surface and it still falls off on its own. this us suction unit uses a tacky gel like substance and suction, tacky portion is good, but the suction part is dog crap and does not work! ... show more

Feels flimsy out of box, once installed feels sturdy but will soon find out. Already installed but waiting to see how long the double sided tape works when it fails I have gorilla tape for backup. Update: no problem with adhesive pad at all even in Texas sun. Be smarter than the pad and you’ll be fine ... show more

Works great! I installed in my Jeep and it gets bounced around a lot! I paired it with the wireless charging head and they fit perfect. I'm running a pretty big/heavy phone (Samsung S23 ultra). The suction allowed me to reposition a few times to get it where it doesn't block the view out the windshield. This mount is rock solid and holds everything securely with no worries that it will let go. I run doors off all the time, still no worries. Only thing that's not 5 stars is the price...come on Quad Lock, give us a little discount here! ... show more
