I bought this charger because it charges faster than a standard outlet charger. When it was delivered I realized it required a different type of outlet than I expected. I had an electrician install the outlet and finally got to use the product. It did the job but after a month it stopped working. The service window for the product is only 3 months. I’m stuck with a useless charger and their Amazon page has no contact information. ... show more

This charger is very simple but works amazingly. Comes with a 6-20 wall charger and a standard 3 pronged outlet as well. It charges up to 16A, (which usually for me equates to 16 miles an hour). I only charge to 80% so that is very efficient for overnight use. Make sure if you do have a Tesla, that you use the adaptor and if you don’t have one, you’ll need to get it. I have two cars in my garage so the extended length of the cable is perfect for my situation. Also comes with a travel organizer for the charger to come with you on travels. No extra bellls and whistles, but I feel they are not really needed. If you want something that works fine and charges your car, with no install fees, then this is a perfect solution. ... show more

The best I can get is 6kw into my battery from a 14-50 outlet. Assuming a 90% efficiency for the 240 volt charging, I should be putting in about 6600 watts. My Electric meter says 6800 with some other things running, so that's pretty good efficiency, except is like to see the full 40 amps 9600 watts)! I love being able to limit the charger to 10 amps because my off- grid solar can run that, although something in that setup is consuming about 3400 watts of power to charge at 2kw, and sucks on my batteries a bit to do that. I suspect my 5kw low frequency inverter is not as efficient as it's suppoaed to be... ... show more

Purchased this charger after looking up reviews and stats for other chargers. I wanted to get the Tesla charger but, this one was a pretty good deal for $100 after a $20 coupon. Very happy with it. Purchased an adapter to be able to use it with my Tesla Model 3 and it has not given me any issues. Just wish it had a better way to mount it since it just has one screw hole for mounting. Other than that, cable is long enough to where I can park in reverse or forward orientation and I am able to plug in with no issue. I am currently using this on a 120v outlet and charges about 6 miles an hour which for my use right now, is more than enough. Would highly recommend getting this one since you can pretty much get two of these for the price of one Tesla Mobile Connector and have an extra one to leave in the vehicle for trips. ... show more
