Read the reviews about retuning the oversized port with a piece of 5/8-3/4" piece of MDF about 13-1/2" wide and long enough to extend existing wall about 4-5" and you will be pleased.     • Decent and affordable box.
I got the box for my Memphis Mojo Pro 12 and it sounds really good on highs mids, and lows. I’ve had it for about 5 months now with no issues at all. When the UPS driver dropped it off it had a slight chip in the corner of the box where it was dropped or something hit it, but the chip did NOT go through the box. I contacted the seller immediately and instead of sending it back, I told them I’d keep it the way it is with some money taken off and they accepted and we agreed on a discount percentage even though it was damaged in shipping.     • Good box if you brace it
The box itself is great! As others have mentioned, it would be wise to brace the box inside. I put some braces ( 1in x 1in pine ) cut to various lengths, in corners etc. I also re glued all seams with normal Elmer’s wood glue (generous amounts). Box may have been fine without these things added, but I did it anyways since others had issues with these boxes flapping after the seams or glued parts failed. Running a American Bass XFL 1222 in this currently for about two weeks. No issues so far and everything looks and feels solid as hell. Could probably get away with just adding extra wood glue to all the seems and be good too, if you didn’t want to brace sides/corners with small pieces of wood. ... show more

    • spend a little more money
the box is ok. and i mean just ok. has rough cutout and some leftover glue strands and culk spots where it shouldnt be. overall i wasnt impressed with it. on one hand it is actually 43hz tuning i checked with a sweep. so it could use a port tune. either thinner or longer. i recommend longer. bught this box after messing up my vintage mtx thunder box. it claimed 41 hz but in reality was 34hz is 2.65 net and 1.85 gross hit wayyyyyy harder and played wayyyy lower with the same power acoustic gothic sub from walmart i was already using. at this point im just going to cut a new front and reseal that box.... its just mediocre all around but you get what you pay for. ... show more

    • Worth every penny
Using this enclosure with an American Bass Elite 1244, being pushed by an Audiopipe APCLE-18001D @ 2 ohms. Installed in a small 4 door sedan first and did not quite get the sound I was looking for. Then installed in a extended cab pickup truck and oh man the sound was awesome. You can hear the notes clearly and the SPL is so satisfying. If you have a sub that requires more than 2.5 cubic feet I would recommend this enclosure all day long. Update: Had the box for almost 1 year now and its still holding up well. Just upgraded my subwoofer from the AB Elite 1244 to an American Bass HD 12 D2. Was pushing 1100rms now will be pushing 1800rms and see how well it holds up. Update: I have been running the American Bass HD 12 D2 in this box for over a year now. I have not had a single issue from this box yet. I did like most of the other reviewers here and added in a piece of wood to lengthen the port for a bit lower tuning. ... show more

    • Terrible workmanship and build quality.
Product's adhesives failed which caused the box to come apart. It started rattling extremely loudly. Also some of the box joints weren't smooth and you could see it thru the carpet. Very unhappy. I would not recommend the box or seller. Seller would not make it right. Box hasn't been installed more than a month. ... show more

Gets the job done perfectly. The quality for this price is amazing. The bass has no rattles and the box is sturdy enough for my 250 watt pioneer subwoofer. But make sure you place your box in the right spot for the best sound. The speaker placement is actually more important than the box and subwoofers in my experience.     • This is an affordable prefab box.
Product delivered in 2 days. I glued and added wood screws to the front of the box as it came loose within a couple days of using. You get what you pay for. I have only ever used prefab boxes and not the high end kind. Damage from shipping and panels loosening up is just something I work around at this point.
