This skirt/shorts combo from IZOD is great. It’s made with very lightweight fabric, and cut generously, making it great for summer when you want minimal contact with your clothes. I barely notice that the undershorts are there. There’s a hidden pocket for keys/cell phones on the shorts, which is handy. The elastic waist gives this a lot of stretch to accommodate a variety of body shapes. As short skirts go, this is on the modest side. I’m 5’5” and it lands two-three inches above my knees, so plenty of coverage that should be appropriate for most school dress codes. It’s been a long time since I was in school, but I think this could also be appropriate for office environments as well.

The sizing doesn't match what you get, but my skirt/skort fits me well so it's not the end of the world. I ordered a size 1, but received something that's marked as an "XS." It's close enough, but it's strange that you have to pick your size via the number, when the actual product isn't like that and comes in XS-XL. It would be helpful if they changed it to where you pick the letter size so it matches what you receive exactly. That's really my only complaint, so now that that's out of the way here's what's good about this skirt: It's unlike any skorts I've had before. Normally with the shorts portion, you can see the shorts part from the back and it only looks like a skirt from the front. The shorts part tends to be loose. With these, it looks 100% like a skirt, and the shorts on the inside feel stretchy tight like elastic. The fit is sort of like boyshort briefs, but a tad longer. I like this design because it makes me feel like I'm actually covered up down there unlike standard skorts. The skirt is not knee-length on me, but it's also not a mini skirt. The tag says this is a skirt that's approved for school uniforms, and that's true. When I hold my hands at my sides, the skirt ends about 1.5 inches below my fingertips. That means I can wear it at the office, yay! The shorts part has a pocket for your phone too which is convenient. Lastly, it says that this is made of "performance material" but it's just polyester which isn't something I'd consider a performance material since polyester doesn't wick sweat well.

True to size, true navy color (have to hold it against something black to see that it isn't black,) perfect length. The material is very nice quality, and lightweight at the same time. This is a HUGE bonus for me, in the perpetual summer of South Florida (we have heat with less humidity in the winter, and full-on SAUNA in summer.) I really like the pocket on the right side of the underneath shorts. Recommendation to the manufacturer is to put a matching pocket on the left side. Can't have too many pockets! But this pocket is a really nice size; no struggle to get my 13 Pro Max in and out, yet it stays in place. I could even slide a key or lip balm in there, too.

The fit on this is very strange. While they fit just fine over my hips, the pleats are all stretched out as if I were wearing a couple of sizes too small. It's really unflattering. That said, it's a nice breathable material so we'll be fine for doing garden work in the summer, or I'm less worried about whether or not the fit is flattering. I am not a student so didn't get these as part of the school uniform, if you're on the larger size and there are other options, I would take those. This skirt is not cut well for bigger bodies.

The fit on this skirt is perfect as well as the length! I love that it's pleated and doesn't wrinkle easily. My favorite thing about this skirt is that it appears to be one of those skirts that zips up the back and is tailored to you or must fit you perfect because the material has no give but this izod skirt is actually elastic in the waist on the back which is great!

Traditional scooter skirts are designed to fall just above the knee, aligning with school uniform standards. Despite some reviews, the length is exactly appropriate for the title given as this meets uniform requirements and yet is designed for active use for play or sport. What was received hit the mark perfectly. I would give this 6 stars if I could. High quality polyester fabric with well constructed pleated front and smooth waistband with elastic give in the back. The undershorts were found to be comfortable. The design is a classic uniform look but without the rigid stiff appearance, replaced by a stylish functional look. This fit as expected.

Clearly designed as a conservative work or school girl uniform skirt, as no form/shape/curves will show and it runs too close to the knees for active wear; it's true to size with an elastic band. It includes a cell phone pocket which is in-between the skirt and built-in shorts; in the photo is a S24 Ultra (a tall phone as an example.) There is slight pleating in the back, but it's mostly in the front. Built-in shorts are very comfortable. The hemline reaches the top of my knees (I'm 5.9) 4 stars because it's really a uniform school girl oriented skirt (and they do state in the product description it's a uniform,) but it's not really combined active wear / school wear you can use for sporting activity at school too. Scooter type, being a skirt combined with shorts for school uniforms to include active use for school sports. My suggestion, bring up the skirt a few inches closer to the shorts with a slightly less bulky/frumpy look would be 5/ideal. Photo's include front of skirt, built-in shorts and the cell phone pocket.
