The top of the stairs is tricky, with weird angles and a wobbly bannister. After trying multiple products, this is the only baby gate I was able to find that worked. Installation is more difficult than most other gates, but that's because the gate is so widely adaptable and adjustable. If you need to install a safe and sturdy gate in a difficult location, then this product is probably your best bet.

The media could not be loaded. It took a lot of research and a few trial and return of other products to finally get to this gate. The issue I was facing is the uneven walls (not parallel horizontally). This gate allows you to install it along an angle, exactly what I needed. The quality, build application, and look is well thought out. PROS Install at any angle up to 180 degrees Stylish Adaptable for baseboards, stair banisters/spindles (with additional parts) Safe for top of stairs CONS Mahogany finish doesn't seem durable (few chips after install) Instructions are confusing Poor quality screws strip easily

I bought this for my father’s safety. It’s made out of sturdy materials. I bought the additional accessories, they really come handy. It looks like a professional install. It takes about an hour to put up. Great product

This thing has made me cry multiple times during assembly. I was never able to properly install it after many hours, and ended up using it without certain parts being fully correctly aligned. It's so frustrating. Even though the pieces look like good quality, the difficulty of installation has made this a waste of money for me, plus all of the adapters I've had to buy. Their customer service will send you additional pieces for a cost, but the process takes a long time.

Great quality! I did a lot of research looking for the right baby gate for the top of our stairs and this checks all the boxes. Installation wasn’t TOO hard but wasn’t easy. Instructions could’ve definitely been better.

This is a nice looking gate. I chose it for the top go the stairs, my husband says that it was difficult to install. I didn’t like that we had to buy a separate attachment to be able to mount it on the stairs, I feel that for the price of the stairs the attachment should be included. We mounted this at and angle and it is extremely difficult to match up the top clip and the bottom. I would definitely chose the glass version of this, if you are stuck between the two because the glass version slides to expand and this one asks you to align the slats.
