In my 40 years of driving the two things that have failed me most are flat tires(slow leaks) and batteries that suddenly die and won’t start the car. This highly portable product by Scatach will help with both. I really think this is a must have whether you drive near or far. This unit is very easy to set up and use. I like that it comes with a case to hold everything together. Now after charging it fully, it came with a 50% charge, I added some air to my tires. It is rather slow compared to my dedicated air pump, but for an emergency away from home would be much welcomed. After keeping it in my trunk several weeks, I was able to assist a fellow gym member whose Camry wouldn’t start. The unit was on 85% when I turned it on. It was slightly hard to read the display in the sun, but from the shade of the hood, it was more readable. It was easy to plug the cables into the unit, but the cables to attach to the car battery were somewhat tight. It would be better if they were longer, but I was able to connect the clips to the terminal. It started the car with no trouble and there was still 60% of battery remaining. So overall this is a fine product that is very solid with good materials that could survive a small drop and still function. It also, at this time does an excellent job retaining battery life. Hopefully this will be the case as it ages, but I have high hopes.

I have not had the need, as of yet, to use the jumper cable aspect of this portable air compressor, jump starter, flashlight & charging station. The device itself charges in a reasonable timeframe. It sat for a few days after charging, before I had a chance to try it & was still fully charged. So it holds a charge, which can sometimes be an issue on rechargeable products. The air compressor works quickly & easily. The one con is the digital display is unreadable in daylight, which is kind of disappointing. Flashlight works well, but it is a small light, but would be sufficient for changing a tire or other tasks of smaller scope. Nice to use as a portable charger at picnics, tailgates or other outdoor activities. Comes with all parts & instructions in a portable case. You need the instructions to get started as device uses symbols vs words. Once you are clear how the device works it is all straight forward. Great to keep in car for a variety of purposes and emergencies. Helpful product, hope it holds up over time.

This item arrived at the perfect time. My mom's battery was dead so it was the perfect opportunity to test this jump starter to see if it actually works. Her battery was DEAD dead and this quickly brought it back to life! The whole process was much faster than using jumper cables and another car. The instructions weren't great and then when I watched the video on the page, it showed different instructions than were in the manual. I was a bit confused on what to do so I just watched a few youtube videos and did what they did. Overall, I think this is a great product for a fair price but the instructions could use some work.

First and foremost, the jump start feature works very well and can be done safely. If I have any negative, it would only be that I wish the leads that go to the battery terminals were a little longer, but they have attached to every battery I have, but some are tight fits. I have charged it fully and used it over and over again trying to deplete the jump starter. In a month and at least 25 uses, I have not even come close to running this unit to zero battery life. The small size also makes it easy to store in my car or truck. The reason I got this one was because of the dual functionality of having an air pump. Now it is not extremely fast on a car tire, but it does work. In reality that is just an emergency feature anyway, so not a big deal to me. That feature also works for inflating sports balls and pool floats, which is an added bonus. This is a good value for all it will do and do well.
