If you're looking for a compact and sturdy box that delivers excellent sound quality, this is definitely a good choice. Keep in mind that it might require some minor adjustments if subwoofers used are larger or more potent. For its low-price range, the product does offer good value.

    • What Booming and Crisp Sound!
The old saying of "you get what you pay for" could not apply more here. This box is incredible. I have it hooked up with two of these Rockford Fosgate P2D4-12 Punch P2 DVC 4 Ohm 12-Inch 400 Watts RMS 800 Watts Peak Subwoofer powered by Rockford Fosgate Prime 1,200-Watt Class-D 1-Channel Amplifier and it is insane. I figured with this type of equipment the box could just be your run at the mill $30 build it yourself job... I couldn't be more wrong. This box is the cherry on top of this system. It's got impeccable construction and extremely durable. It's not a huge box so should fit in most standard sedan/4x4 trunks. If you've got a truck or a small hatchback it might be a snug fit/no go. It's made and lined with the same stuff that truck beds are lined with. Making this is tough, however I had absolutely no issue screwing my subs down into it. Because of this there are no cracks or edges where air might escape or cause the box to rattle. This is a HUGE plus for me. Delivers pure bass. Something to note when you are hooking it up to the 4 terminals, this box did NOT include any sort of wiring. You must use your own speaker wire to connect your subs to the terminals, inside and out. Other boxes I've dealt with in the past typically include this. The terminals are located on the back of the sub (vs. the side) so standing it up may pinch your wires. I would recommend this box to ANYONE who cares about their car audio experience. ... show more

Very nice box received in good condition Tim according to Watch because you’re using you may want to do some reinforcing inside. It’s just glued. I put blocks in with glued them and screw them but the texture of the boxes. Wonderful good rest residence sound residence. Barely. I had to take the cover off the wheel well. I don't keep a spare in the trunk because I'd need a full size or risk tearing the rear end out. It's a tight fit but if you kinda twist it while inserting it will slowly fall into place. Now I just have to figure out how to get the carpet and well cover back underneath it. It would probably be easier if I had an assist but this is a solo project. If you don't pay attention and try shoving it in, you will tear out your surrounds so either put the speakers in after or go slow and steady. My 12" Black Diamonds did not sit flush. I just used foam rubber gasket material to seal the roughly 1/4" gap rather than grinding the holes out. Does the trick. I'm pushing 1500 watts RMS into these speakers and haven't had a crack appear so far. I did reinforce the corners in the back with some square dowel rods before I installed the speakers, just in case, since others said they had managed to break these boxes. ... show more

This box originally was bought from another company but I saw it on Amazon for $40 less and delivered the very next day! So of course I returned the first purchase and couldn’t wait to install this speaker box and it fit and worked great!

wanted to go cheap just to save some extra loot had q bombs and q powers in the day. this is so small.. the wood seems cheap it came a day late and damaged like through the liner and a layer or two of wood off it in the corner.. i doubt i can return it so i had to hit it with some wood glue and tlc. shouldnt buy a brand new box and already be back on amazon within the hour looking for a new one... small box not sturdy and just a box thrown in a cardboard box to ship :P def not the way as i see the other reviews... lowering my score from 2 star to 1... had to find out the holes are def not 12 inches just like other comments does not fit sundown sa 12s does not fit kicker comp r 12s does not fit any 12s its like 11 3/4 which if i buy a brand new box i shouldnt have to take a dremal to it. sent it back 3 days later ... show more
