  • I love these glasses!
I have worn aviators for several years now. I lost my current pair just before returning to work (overseas) and was just plain mad! I was flying out on a Sunday and couldn't find a pair in my small town before my flight. Was at the Atlanta airport as well as Dubai and they were like 200 bucks at duty free. So I ordered those and amazon got them to the APO in less than week unreal fast for 100 bucks! I decided to get the orange lens because I thought they looked cool. But the lens is great .it keeps the sun away during the day but you can use these right until the sun disappears its like they gather the light. Nice glasses typical aviator fit and quality. Cannot go wrong with ray ban or amazon. ... show more

  • $$$ but worth it
My first impression was a 3 or a 4 however I have been using these while driving for several weeks now and I'm up to a 5. The optical glass & coatings are fabulous. The look is very smart with a copper-ish tinge. The temple pieces are wires but seem sturdy, As I have gotten older, I need more photons coming in & cheap sunglasses just don't get the acuity that I need. My previous sunglasses were also Ray Bans but they were over 20 years old and the coatings were starting to peel up from the sides. ... show more

  • Classic Style
You can’t go wrong with a pair of Ray Ban aviators. These timeless shades are always in style and can be worn with a host of varying looks and styles. The only con with the Evolve series is that they don’t get nearly as dark as Ray Ban claims they do. But if you’re looking for some cool shades that can be worn anytime and anywhere, with just about anything, but these. ... show more

  • smooth
I wish they got a little darker in the sun - in fact, I'm not sure they actually change color at all. Honestly though, I don't care - they are just dark enough to serve as sunglasses but not so dark you need to take them off when you walk inside. I've been looking for a classy pair in this color combo for a while and may finally have found them. Probably not for everybody, they compare to Ray-Ban's full size aviator so are a little on the bid side, and the lenses are glass so a little heavy. However, it's all balanced out just right, at least so far. ... show more

  • Almost Perfect
The media could not be loaded. These glasses do have a blue light bocket for computer screens so very good and they do pretect against UV however they are not polarized so they are not quite perfect. Had they been slightly polarized they would have been perfect. When driving beware sunlight reflections can still damage the eye. ... show more

  • Confusing and a red flag
I have chronic dry eye problems and must wear sunglasses whenever I am outside. So I am very familiar with different brands and I own 3 pairs of RayBan RB3025 which are my go-to sunglasses if I know I am going to be wearing them any length of time, like 3-4 hours straight. Other brands just become too uncomfortable after an hour or so. With all the gorgeous new colors RB is now producing, I ordered two pairs of Ray-Ban RB3025, one a dark purple, Violet Mirror, and one pair of a lighter purple, Lilac Mirror. I thought I would give one pair to my niece as a surprise gift. Both pairs of sunglasses were delivered in the same box but when I opened up the individual RB boxes, I was surprised to find two pairs of dark purple, Violet Mirror, sunglasses. The sunglasses were identical but oddly enough the numbers on the boxes and on the sunglasses were different. Now how can this be? Same exact color, style, etc but different numbers on the RayBan package and sunglasses arm. Originally, I was thinking that there was a mistake in the packing and someone put two identical pairs of RayBan instead of the dark purple and lilac pair that I had ordered. But with further investigation, I found that the ID numbers on the box and the sunglasses were different, even though visually both pairs of sunglasses were identical in color, size and every other aspect. Logically, if the sunglasses were identical shouldn't they have identical style, color, etc numbers? ... show more

  • Sold by and shipped by Amazon are the REAL DEAL
These are definitely the real deal! I paid close attention to other reviewers and made certain I purchased "sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon". I have not had a pair of Aviators since my late 80's high school days. I was just tired of wearing cheap sunglasses and went back to the classic--except that now there are a lot more choices of lens and frame combinations that actually make Aviators unique AND high quality. They fit like a glove and feel like an old pair of jeans. Perfect. The difference in quality of sight through these as compared to my cheapies is amazing. Purchase from Amazon and you will not be disappointed! ... show more
