I love this thing. Since covid, pizza delivery (here in a large apartment building) means leaving your apartment and going outside to get your pie because the drivers won't bring it to your door anymore. Might as well drive and get it myself since I have to get dressed anyway. So I've decided to learn how to make an apizza (ah beets' here in New Haven, Ct. Land of the world's greatest pizza) as close to the real thing as possible. I prefer thin crust but it looks like this oven doesn't get hot enough for thin crust and is more suited to neapolitan pies. This gets up to 660 degrees and pies get that beautiful blackening on the bottom. I probably don't have the right size either since thin crust pies are best in a large diameter. This oven gives you 15.5" so enough for a medium if you have good prowess with a regular peel because there is NO sliding peel available on Amazon (although many of them are advertised) wider than 12 inches. NONE! I bought three on false pretenses so be warned. I'm sure there's a way to make a real thin crust pie in this and I'm going to find it. Meantime, this is a wonderful pizza oven nonetheless. I keep the stone in my stove oven so it's closer to where I put the pizza oven, but it comes in handy when making pizza in your stove oven (there are ways) and it makes moving the pizza oven a lot easier. This is a great oven for a single or couple. Very basic and very simple. And very nice price.

This oven is easy to use and performs real well when making pizzas. I could not ask for anything more, especially in this price range. It competes with ovens costing $100+ more. I researched pizza ovens before buying this one, considering natural gas ovens in the $400 range and the electric Cuisine Art CPZ-120BKS. They all had excellent reviews. In the end, I took a chance that the electric oven would achieve 90% of what I wanted. This allowed me to cook indoors all year around. Pros 1. Electric unit is plug-in ready. Not dependent on propane or gas and ventilation outdoors. 2. Pizza stone is 15", not 12" like other models. 3. No need to manually rotate pizza while cooking. 4. Separate controls for bottom and top, for cooking the dough at a different temp from toppings. Cons 1. It can hit 670-700F, but not 800F as gas ovens do. I found the 5-6 minute cooking time quite acceptable. 2. It is bulky and can't be stored in a standard cupboard. I normally cook 11-12" pizzas, leaving me lots of room to spare. The extra space makes it easy to pull in and take out of the oven, and have the option to go larger. The light and window inside gives you a perfect view of the pizza, so you can see how brown the cheese is and make a judgement call, just a few inches away. I am quite happy with the pizzas made in this oven, while saving some money when comparing it to some other $400 models. Enjoy!

The oven was received in perfect condition and we started using it right away. It takes some time though to find the right baking times and temperatures. Suggested; get an oven thermometer since the dials are not 100% accurate (not a major issue). The heat distribution is OK but you have to get used to rotate the items while baking. This applies specifically for breads. Overall we are quite satisfied with the output, the energy savings, and the fact that is clean heat compared to the gas oven. One more thing: you can use steam by including an open container with boiling water, it will not dissipate and helps out forming a nice bread crust.

I bought an Ooni a few weeks ago and have had trouble with consistency, and with the humidity it’s hard to deal with the dough sticking when cooking outside right now…So I started looking into electric ovens. After a little bit of research I took a swing on this one and I am extremely satisfied. I don’t see how other companies are selling what I cannot imagine is any better than this thing for $999, when this unit was $266 with shipping. It is built with sturdy materials. Packed nicely, no issues with a broken stone. Gets up to almost 700 degrees in about 15-20 minutes. I cooked a pizza (I like a little crisp and char) in about 4 minutes, came out exactly how I like it. First time. You can also churn out multiple pizzas in this thing as it stays hot and heats up quickly after you make one. The outside does get a little hot, so do be careful. It’s a large unit so I’ll be looking into a cart as other reviewers decided to do, excellent idea. All in all an amazing product at a great price that I will be recommending to friends and family.

Finally, a pizza oven that actually works as it should. Yes, it's big, bulky and take's a bit to heat up, but that's to be expected because of its size. This oven is one you would find in a small mom and pop restaurant. Its quality.

Was a tad skeptical but at $206 with coupon... worth the risk. Amazing! Being able to hold 575f-600f is what sets this apart from ANY home oven for achieving the crisping and browning my simple sourdough deserves. No cheating with sugar or fats. Just starter, water and flour. Perfect crusts in 5-7min depending on where we are in heat recovery. I've made 10 pizzas to date and it performs consistently. I'll likely buy a second to put on the shelf as a backup.

This pizza oven can cook a Neopolitan STYLE pizza better than my kitchen oven. It gets about 150 degrees hotter, so the crust bakes quicker. With the proper preheat, I am now at about 5 minutes for the bake. The unit does get hot on the outside in places, so be aware. Also, the interior can accommodate a Detroit 10 x 14" pan easily. The limitations of this oven are the USA's 1800 watt limit of our typical home outlet, and not the oven itself. Overall, this oven is a great bargain for what you get.
