I bought this hoping it would be able to find metal in salvage wood. It can find Brad nails but it cannot find the wires they use on nails in pallet wood. Look for another product for reclaiming salvage wood unless you want damaged planer or jointer blades. Sensitive is not adjustable on this model. This was designed for security stuff like the winding you get at an airport, not for woodworkers. ... show more
