Our Raw Canvas Cotton Beekeeping Jacket is designed for everyday use,This Pre- washed fabric provides a refined, rigid, and tough finish, making it light in weight and providing maximum protection. Our premium YKK zippers around the veil and jacket helps prevents breakage of zippers on the jacket, along with a special Velcro closure flap where the zippers meet to offer additional protection. The elasticated waist and wrists, along with thumb straps provides excellent protection, and holds everything together. The Fiberglass screen provides great visibility through the veil. With 1 chest pocket with a specifically designed slot for your queen marker and a velcro strap for your cell phone, along with 2 lower pockets for your hive tools with a velcro strap to hold everything together. Please see size chart picture for sizing. Our beekeeping products are built to the highest safety and quality standards, and have been throughly tested in labs, and used by many commercial beekeepers throughout the country.

Hubs loves it. It has great visibility and with a zippered hood, he can put it down upon leaving the hive yard. It's super well made and fits great, so he's very confident working with his "girls". The zipper makes putting it on and taking it off really easy. Just buy it!

I purchased two of these for myself and my husband. We keep a couple of hives and the bee suits I originally purchased 3 years ago were wearing out. Lots of zippers with this jacket to make sure they are zipped tight and velcro'd down. A little tricky to check everything yourself when putting on the jacket. The hood is nice - it does not seem to press against your head as our other bee jackets did. My husbands worked fine. I had a slight gap below my waist. In hindsight if I had allowed the jacket elastic to "ride" up a little I may not have had a gap. Needless to say a bee found its way into my jacket! I can honestly say I've had a bee in my bonnet! It's hot, the rings that hold veil up in front are always blocking your view. The elastic on arms and waist is good. Zippers are good. You do have too unzip entire veil to remove, not just the front(for a drink or to wipe sweat. It works. Didn't cost $125. So........

Jacket is a bit loose, but honestly, that works best. I have seen a few girls trying to sting through it, but no success so far. While it is thick and a bit heavy, which makes it a touch warm, you can mist it down and it holds the water well to keep me cool. The veil/hood has fit perfectly with a baseball cap on me and never comes close to my face. The interior waist string does get caught in the velcro for the zipper covers and the thumb elastics are oddly place so the sleeve turns around a bit when I put them on. ... show more
