For the price you are getting your money's worth. I like the weight of it compared to the one I bought years ago and that one was so heavy. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a good product with a good price.

    • Poor quality
Has a hard time sensing small amounts of metal. Tried to use it to find overgrown sprinkler heads (which have a metal spring I them), but it does not work. Also used it to find property line spikes that are an inch in diameter and 3 foot long…usually 3 to 3 inches below the surface. Didn’t work.

    • Missing battery cover
Appears to be well constructed, however it was missing the battery compartment cover upon receipt; therefore, was not functional (and my daughter could not use it on Christmas). After waiting a couple days for a reply from customer service, I got a boilerplate response requesting all the information already provided in the product registration, then resubmitted in the problem request. It seems like they don't even read the information taken. Will update this review if things are resolved; however, it is not looking promising. Also note that the web addresses for support in the product instruction/documents lead to websites that don't exist. Experience with Pyle, so far, has been frustrating. Update: 15 October 2019. Almost a year later and many emails, there has been no resolution or attempts to resolve. Still have a useless thing that will be too small for my daughter to use. ... show more
