Love our gazebo! It does take at least two people to assemble, but the instructions are detailed and complete, and all of the pieces are clearly marked. At one point we recruited a neighbor to help hold one long side up while I attached a short side. Once we had the four sides assembled and in place, things progressed quickly. My advice is to read the instructions carefully and completely, and don't head into it "willy-nilly". If you don't have good mechanical skills, find someone who does to help, and don't be in a rush. All that being said, we are very happy that we purchased this gazebo. It provides a great shelter from the sun and the rain, and it looks great, too! In addition to photos showing the finished product, I included one that shows the sides with the legs attached to the horizontal rails and laid out, ready to assemble. I also included one with the sides and the upper roof section in place. Once we got to that point, it was just a matter of a couple of hours or so to get the roof on, and a little bit more to hang the curtains in the screens. We purchased the light kit and strung it along the inside frame part way up the under side of thebroof, and secured with zip ties. We also installed an outdoor ceiling fan made specifically for gazebos. The three ceiling hooks that are built in to design of the gazebo made that so easy! We've enjoyed dining out and, here in Florida's panhandle, the zippered screens have kept the mosquitoes and other bugs away. We've discovered a "bonus" use of our gazebo. We had our first good freeze of the year a couple of weeks ago. We gathered all of our outdoor potted plants under the gazebo, placed a space heater on a stand inside and closed the side curtains. All of the plants survived and are still thriving!

We purchased the 12x18 Purple Leaf gazebo after spending a long time comparing options and reading countless reviews, and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. We needed something durable and well-built that would fit our deck space, and this model has exceeded expectations. The structure feels solid and immediately added both comfort and function to our outdoor area. In the fall, it’s already providing excellent shelter so we can enjoy our new fire table and heater without worrying about the weather. When summer comes, we’re looking forward to finally having reliable shade. We’ve already spent several evenings under it watching football, and it has quickly become the favorite spot in the house. Even our dogs love it, and our tween is suddenly eager to hang outside with her Nintendo Switch, which says a lot. Purple Leaf delivered exactly what we hoped for: a sturdy, attractive gazebo that transformed our deck into usable space year-round. Highly recommend.

Very nice product ain’t gonna lie. It does take a weekend to put it together with a few people very nice and sturdy. We had a piece that was damaged. I contacted the seller and took pictures and they sent me the replacement piece right away. Very reliable company.

We would never hesitate to purchase anything from Purple Leaf. Their customer care team is on it and responds very quickly to any contact. We needed a bit of touchup paint for a few very small scratches. We contacted Purple Leaf, and the paint was sent promptly. Then our dog decided to chew up one of the curtain tie backs, again this was easily fixed with their customer service team. Also, their products that we have seen are of great quality and very nice design. The Gazebo that we purchased was easily assembled and we are very, very happy with it. It seems to withstand the wind out here very well with no issues. It provides us with a beautifully designed cover that keeps the bugs out, provides us privacy or opens up to a beautiful day. Our only wish is that it was a bit taller to match up with our sliding glass doors. Of course, that’s not a problem with their design, just our personal thoughts on it. The Gazebo is built very sturdy and it looks like it will hold up for years to come. Again we give it five stars. Very happy with it. We are very pleased with Purple Leaf overall as a company and would be pleased to deal with them again.

Received 4 of 5 boxes to start. 1 box was badly damaged to the point a new box had to be resent. Seller was very quick in responding each and every time we reached out to them. Instructions were on point although there was a lot of parts & pieces. My husband was able to put this together on his own with the exception of standing it up, the one time he needed my help. Love that this has zip up screens to keep mosquitoes out and/or a zip side to prevent sunlight or create privacy. Large enough to have outdoor furniture inside. Very strong and durable. 10 x 14. When it was all said and done, 10 trim pieces were missing, seller was once again on it and immediately went missing pieces. Within a few days we had the pieces. Husband concreted the 4 corners in the ground so we don’t have to ever worry about the wind in our area.

Not a simple assembly process. You will need helpers and a solid day of work to assemble the gazebo. However, the quality of this gazebo is outstanding. Instructions are easy enough to follow, it just takes time. Nice shade provided when complete and stays dry underneath in wet/rainy conditions.

I have a lot to say about this. First off the customer service from Purple Leaf is SUPER!!! They were so helpful and responsive. We went from a 10x10 structure to this 13x15. It comes in 8 separate boxes. The lights in a separate box. You MUST be patient with your set up. There are lots of pieces and it will take time. I would say in total it was about 9 hours. The weather was not very warm when we started and we are fortunate to have the garage to use as set up with laying out the pieces according to the letters. Be careful to read the instructions carefully as some of the hardware is similar in size. We were pretty happy with the instructions. Good visuals. Had a couple spots that we needed to redo. restart. The roof part mainly. We live in Colorado and we have had a couple significant wind storms since setting this up and it did great! Maybe 60 plus MPH winds!!! WE were very lucky to have a couple friends help us as well. We made it a party! WE are happy with the quality and the size. The lights were more dim overall than we wanted so we did put are other lights (plug in) back on from the old gazebo and hooked them into Alexa for on and off. they are brighter. We added our fan from before as well. We added only part of the screens as they are bulky and we were disappointed that there was no strap or tie them up. Right now we have a bungee cord around them. We will not be using the curtains as it creates a complete black out which is not the effect we are looking for. We may just add our crank down shade that we had before. If we get lots of bugs we may appreciate the screens more but we in general don't have a great issue here once we set out citronella candles and such around the perimeter. I hope this is helpful to others We would recommend this shelter/gazebo to others. Great customer service and quality product which to us, means a lot these days. Good Luck!
