The package included written instructions for installation and set up for: Samsung, Sony, LG, Vizio Hisense, Toshiba, Sharp, TCL, Amazon Fire, Google Chromecast, Apple and Roku devices. The instructions were very helpful and I was able to navigate through screens and find the settings I needed to use the cable on my Samsung television. Once I had it installed it worked perfectly.     • Great cable
This cable works as a digital analog converter from an optical connection. I am using it to connect to the optical output of a CD player. The player has an internal converter and amp that don't sound very good. Using this cable by connecting an auxiliary cable I was able to use a headphone amp, and it sounds terrific. I did try using the internal amp that is part of the cable and did not get much volume, but it might work better with a TV. However, it will work to provide a digital signal to an amplifier and the signal is quite clean. ... show more
