So we purchased mostly the 17” matte bars with one wall of 13” bars for climbing up. These bars go from one end of the loft to the other and those are 17” in the ceiling and steps climbing down on opposite side. First off, these are well made, they look good too. We’ve had all the boys (my boys ages range from 4 - 11.5 years) and their buddies climbing and playing on these. Even the screws that come with these were pretty good. I can’t give it a 5 star because they have minimal grip. Need to either get grip tape or climbing gloves. I assume it’s because of the matte. The other issue is that the shipping takes forever. Why we don’t have all the bars up yet (only 18/24).

We bought these to create a climbing and hanging experience, where we also had a mural of a tree. These are very solid and were the right spacing for the collar ties and framing in the ceiling, they have a nice texture to hold on to. We are happy with them. We have weight on them up to 180 lbs.

Installed these on the painted joists in the basement and they are the perfect width, blend in with the black cieling, very sturdy. Can't keep the kids off them!

These are super sturdy and they look so good on our little playhouse! They don't wiggle or move at all, even when an adult climbs up. I have to take away a star because several of them came with scratches on them, even though they were packaged super well.

We used these as indoor monkey bars and hand grips along the wall. Unfortunately, because of the matte black finish, they are way too slippery to grab hold of. I’d be hesitant to use them as any sort of safety grip, as hands easily slip off of them. However, because we didn’t realize this until after they were installed, and they were each packaged individually, there is no way to return them. I’d recommend handles that do not have a matte black finish.
