Description

Attention: Inductive loads need about 3-10 times of rated power to start, e.g. refrigerator, coffee machine, vacuum cleaner. Double check your inverter is sufficient power to start these loads. If the inverter surge power is not enough to start the load, you need to buy a higher power model. Simply it is to say that: Not a 1000W rated power inverter can start all appliances lower than 1000W. Always keep you are having sufficient DC power supply if you are using higher power output.(bigger size battery or keep your car engine is ON while running high power loads) Pure Sine Wave Inverter 1000W with dual Sockets?Continuous Power: 1000W?Max Power: 1200W?Suge power: 2000W?Output waveform: Pure Sine Wave?THD: =4Percent?Efficiency(Full load): 85Percent?Input voltage: DC12V (10-15V)?No load current draw: ?Output voltage: 110-120Vac 60Hz?With DC 5V 2A rated USB port and wire ON/OFF remote.?Protections: Overload, low voltage, over voltage, output short, over temperature shut off? With thermal controlled cooling Fan(High speed)Operation Guide for the LCD Wire Remote control To use this LCD wire remote ON/OFF control kit, you MUST turn the manual ON/OFF switch to OFF position. • Great Value
Size: 1000W
Worked right out of the box. Includes 2 2 ft power cables for immediate battery hook ups. Pure sine wave feature allows use on delicate electronic items and/or motors. Be careful of modified sine wave inverters when using them for computers, tv's, etc. Pure sine wave must be used in these instances. Continues to work and is trouble free. ... show more

  • Works
Size: 1000W
I don't have a time review or a scope. Looking through the unit it seems to be constructed well with good solder joints and protections. The case is hefty aluminum and slides apart into two halves. There are temp sensing probes that allow the fan to not turn on until a certain heat threshold is achieved. The fan is a normal 80mm fan that is just as noisy as any other standard fan of this size. Not annoying, just a fan. In order for the "remote" to work the unit needs to have its main switch in the off position, and the little red button needs to be pressed and held for the unit to turn on. The mosfets are adequately attached with metal "beams". One set of mosfets are attached to a heatsink and the other set is attached to the case itself. Notice the 4, 30amp fuses. If you have issues, start with these. The battery leads were of acceptable quality. Nothing to report here. I was able to run my computer and a dehumidifier on it. That's was the extent of my testing. That was a 500w constant load and a burst over 1000w with the dehumidifier. The temperature probes are attached to the mosfets with a glue of sorts. This could be a problem as this insulates the heatsink from the probe. I don't think it's a huge deal. The thermal tape could be replaced with standard thermal paste for better contact. Meh. This is a simple unit. I don't really see an obvious point of failure. Only time will tell. At this point I would buy another. Edit 021524: This thing is amazing. I have blown the set of 4 fuses twice now. One with too big of a load and the other by accidently switching the battery leads. After replacing the fuses, the unit snapped back into action like nothing happened! ... show more

  • On the fence?
Size: 1000W
Great price for a pure sine wave inverter. I purchased the 1000 watt version(sometimes reviews get mixed). For small tasks it has performed well over the passed few months. Mostly its been used to power lights, dc power supply, soldering iron...nothing over 2-300watts. Recently, I wanted to test the limits so I started pushing 7-800watts. Most of this was pulled from a small shop vac. It ran without a hiccup as I monitored the batteries, cables, inverter. Good thing I didn't walk away. About 10 minutes in I noticed the smell of plastic getting too warm. Checked the cables and they were warm, but not alarming. Soon after that, I noticed smoke coming from the inverter near the input hookups from the batteries. Immediately turned off the inverter. The only damage I noticed was the end of the positive cable provided which had melted a bit. Though, both terminals became loose and trying to tighten them just resulted in the terminal spinning.. The inverter didn't get 4 stars for nothing. It still functioned fine afterward. After taking apart the shell of the inverter, I didn't see any internal damage. However, I did notice there are two 30 amp fuses. 60A*14.6V(100% charge) = 876 watts 60A*12.8V(nominal) = 768 watts Maybe I'm missing something there but I wouldn't trust this inverter over a few hundred watts and I would suggest using 2AWG or larger cables. Pros -Affordable -Fairly quiet -Comes with battery monitor -Produces clean electricity Cons -Doesn't support claimed power(in my case anyway) -Included cables are undersized for 1000watts/[email protected] continuous -My unit makes a buzzing sound when higher power is drawn(normal?) Overall -Given what you can expect after my review, I'd say go for it. Seems legit and well built despite its shortcomings. ***5/18/2025 edit - there are (4)30A fuses, not 2. 12.8V*120A=1536 watts 14.6V*120A=1752 watts Still doesn't change the results for what I would consider a safe load on the inverter, but it gives credence to the capabilities of the device. ... show more

  • It seemed to work well for 10 hours
Size: 1000W
Worked well for 10 hours total across 3 or 4 days, Eventually shut off, When attemting to start it read OST, beeped and shut off, looking into the manual, it might be output shortcut protection, however, there were no shortcuts. Started a return process, I got quoted $75 as the cheapest Intl. return option. Decided it was not worth it, attempted to repair, 2 out of 4 fuses were blown, replaced them, same error and beeping result, then it caught fire. ... show more

  • Reliable for a year...then died
Size: 1000W
Was very reliable up until now, almost lasted one year. The unit has begun to constantly fault for no reason. I suspect an internal component is failing as everything else in my system is totally fine. The wires given with this inverter DO heat up so I highly recommend upgrading the wiring if you buy this unit as the heat can be a fire hazard. ... show more
