I was very impressed with the results of this Shampoo with my fur baby. He has very sensitive skin and allergies so he ends up scratching quite a bit so he needs baths often. I also bought the conditioner of this brand and they worked amazing together! I let the Shampoo sit for a little bit before rinsing it out, and then applied again and rinsed out and then put in the conditioner. There was definitely a noticeable difference in the softness of his fur as well as it definitely helps with getting excess hair off. There was quite a bit of his fur that he shedded off as I was scrubbing and rinsing him. This shampoo has a very mild scent. It's not overpowering at all. Between using the shampoo and the conditioner, he has been doing great and it's been quite a few days after he's only a scratch a bit here and there but definitely not like his normal hard scratching of his ears and under his belly. I would recommend this to anyone who may have dog's with allergies or with very sensitive skin just like the bottle states. ... show more

As a avid fan of the Girl With The Dogs YouTube channel, i had to grab this product as soon as i seen it hit the e-shelves of amazon. My jackapoo doggo was just about up for another cleaning so the timing was perfect. The bottle recommends diluting the shampoo upto a ratio of 16:1 which will really help stretching out this 16oz bottle for the duration. Has a slight scent, as it claims to be fragrance & dye free, and lathers up well enough to cut through Gunny's greasy thick hair and penetrate deep down to provide a thorough cleaning. Leaves the puppers hair feeling silky smooth when used in combination with a proper conditioning solution like the paired Pure Fur conditioner. No sort of irritation or overly strong scents, definitely recommended. ... show more

I don't believe scented products belong on animals, and this is truly unscented. I diluted it, 16:1 and it still provided a light lather. I've used it on both of my dogs just once so far but appreciate that there really isn't any scent left on them after using this, plus their fur feels really soft. I think softer than some other brands have left their fur. I plan on just using this for the next handful of baths and seeing if my opinion changes, but as of now I really like it. I'm going to try it slightly less diluted next time. I do recommend diluting it, too, as it will get you a much better bang for your buck. Each dog is different though, so you may have to find a ratio that works best for your dog. So far I'm happy with it and it doesn't seem to bother my dogs at all. ... show more

My rescue had never had a bath. I'd been using wipes to wash him every day. I wanted something that would make his first experience a pleasant one. I'm a big fan of Girl with the Dogs. I love her sense of humor and her descriptions of the animals' personalities and quirks. When I saw that this was from her, I knew I had to order it. The thickness of the shampoo makes it easy to use and it lathered well. Bubba doesn't like smells on his fur, so he'll lick to get them off. He enjoyed his first bath and there was no licking afterward. When he was dry I saw that his skin was soft and his fur was very clean. I also ordered the conditioner made to match this shampoo.
