He likes to sit on his chair and have mom or dad sit in the other chair. We love it because we can leave little snacks and his water cup on the table for easy access to him, without needing to bug us for them. I have had this table set for just over a year and it is the one thing my almost 3 year old toddler uses the most, she has used her tool box on top of it, she eats table, she paints. Even we can seat with her and so fat the color the finish is still looking great. The table and chairs are very durable, so far even with us seating on the chair and moving the table all the time to clean under, we have not had to adjust the screws or anything it just very well made with real hard wood! The varnish did come off because of cleaning it so many times with disinfecting wipes and started to feel sticky, but I was able to remove it with a mixture of dish soap and a white vinegar and it looks like new again! My 3 year old and 1.5 year old love this table. It is the MOST sturdy table or piece of kid furniture I've ever bought. You can really tell it's solid wood. My fiance easily sat on one of the chairs and he weighs 200lb. It was also super easy to put together. Only took me about an hour to do the table and both chairs, from start to finish. It is a good structure, easy to assemble. There was a slight imperfection on the table, but not worth returning. I bought as a weaning table but it is a bit tall for my 18m old. I wish the table was a little wider and shorter, but overall good for the price. Would purchase their products again.
