It works good. Tastes good. Make sure to put the blue insert in correctly. I couldn't get the cover to sit on right. I was ready to toss it. I took it back apart, and when I put it back together again the cover fit perfectly. I didn't realize there was a difference in the front and back top of the blue insert. Lesson learned. This fits perfectly in the door pocket of my RV, which is what I bought it for. You never know what's in the water at campgrounds, so this way I don't have to carry clean water, just a clean pitcher with a filter! ... show more

I love the look/design of this pitcher! I got the white one - it's blue inside - very good looking and elegant. It was to replace an older, bigger one that had gotten hard for dad to handle due to size and weight. It was also not as ergonomic - leaving a layer of water unfiltered above the filter. This newer design is super ergonomic - filters 100% of the water that goes in. And I love the fast filtering with the newer, shorter filters - get those. This one comes with one, so I'd get a set of 3-4 that pops up on the page as an add-on. Will be ordering those new filters. ... show more

Hearing that my town's water wasn't as pure as I assumed led me to get this. Now I have learned that my town is hardly alone, that most tap-water is questionable. So it is sadly necessary to filter the water we drink. PUR is one of the most reliable and highly-regarded home water filters. It is also very easy to use. The filters are easy to insert into the pitcher, and they last two months. In no time at all, you'll have a pitcher in your fridge ready for ice cubes, coffee, water bottles, and drinking as is. By the way, I read that the standards of bottled water are also questionable. So save yourself some money and be safer at the same time. Get a water bottle from Amazon, get this pitcher, and you'll be better off. If for some reason the instructions aren't clear, PUR has a few YouTube videos that show exactly what to do. Ideal! Slimmer than the Brita pitcher. Takes up a little less space in the fridge. Lighter and more manageable than the 11-cup Pur pitcher, which was too heavy for me to manage one-handed when full. Produces the best-tasting water.
