Needed to give some new life to an old mattress & get a better nights sleep! Looked at many options, and ended up selecting this one both for its composition and reasonable price. 3 inches is perfect, both for added comfort and to still be within a reasonable step to the floor. The pad was packaged well; it puffed up to full size after a few hours of being laid out on my kitchen floor. My only complaint is with the strong smell it has . . . it took about 4 days unpacked and 1 day airing out on my bed before I was willing to start using it. The small will dissipate faster if the pad can be laid out in fresh air. Welcome to a good night's sleep!

My other one was just not working anymore. So compared to my old one this one is much better. I just wish that it would have more support than what it does. I lay down and it smooshes and I feel the mattress not any foam anymore. but like I said it’s much better than my old one that just was not working anymore.

My husband and I were staying with his mom over Easter Break and there is just a thin mattress in the spare bedroom so I ordered this because I’ve had back surgery twice and let me tell you! This thing was a lifesaver! I got the 3 inch and it was so thick and perfect! Nice and breathable too!

Update: returned the first item (which was really tough to do but managed it), got a replacement item and it’s been just fine. I’m guessing a bad apple… Received this item on October 1, it’s now October 10 and the mattress topper has still not expanded. I opened the topper and allowed it to sit on our blow up queen bed for 4 days (adjusting it, flipping it), our guest then slept on it for 3 days and now a few more days later it’s still not expanded. Either I have a bad item or this product is just garbage. Returning this isn’t possible (I managed to return the item). So I’m stuck with a garbage topper and $100 gone (I got a replacement, it’s been two weeks now. This new one is mostly expanded but the edges are still not). Not sure if this is bad luck or just a product issue…the expanded topper is nice but getting it to expand has been my issue.

Update: I contacted the company, and explained the issues I had with it not expanding and they sent me out another one. The second one is much better! Expanded to the full 3 inches and I don't feel like I get stuck in it! Customer service is spot on. It's ok, I guess. Super disappointed that even after 3 days it didn't expand to the full 3 inches. It's at a smidge over 2 in. I've had memory foam before and none have compressed under weight as much as this one. It takes a few minutes to bounce back after weight is removed. It's kinda weird sleeping, when I move spots I can feel the impression of where I was prior. I'd have returned it if it weren't so difficult.

I bought this gel topper for our new travel trailer. The trailer has a foam mat but it is a bit thin so I put this on top of the existing foam. It makes the bed sooooo comfy. Love this. I've been sleeping so well in the camper. I also decided to try this on top of my mattress at home. I got a new mattress last year that cost me quite a lot (over $1000) and it is nice but my lower back still hurts sometimes. This gel mattress did the trick and my bed at home is also sooooo much more comfy now. I will be buying a second one for my king mattress at home. Not sure how long it will last or if it will get too hot. I've heard these mattresses can be hot in the summer. I live near the coast so we don't get super hot weather but this one has not been too hot. It does compress a bit while sleeping so sometimes I have to change positions to get a "fluffier" spot on the mattress. I haven't had another gel mat so don't have much to compare it to but for the price this is a no brainer. Love it!

I bought two of these back to back. The first was perfect: it came well packed, inflated well, and sleeps perfectly. After getting the first I decided to get a second for the guest bed. The second was completely different. The holes where oddly spaced, the top and bottom two inches oddly never inflated, and worst of all it came with a large tear! I chose to keep the second because it still does the job and the sheet covers the imperfections but it was still very weird.
