They work great! We have a very rambunctious GSD who is 11 weeks old. I was hesitant to use these, but they have worked well in these ways: 1 - When we need to leave for a couple hours, these help with his separation anxiety. He whines and barks for about a minute, and then he's calm the rest of the time. We have been working on crate training, and I think these treats have helped him learn that his crate is his calm place. 2 - When he has a hard time settling for bed, these treats are great. He calms and falls alseel in his crate after about 10 min. 3 - When I'm trying to train him and he's super energetic, I give him 1/2 of one of these. It calms him just enough to focus on what I'm trying to teach him. BE CAREFUL not to go overboard with these. For my 21 lb pup, I won't give more than 2 total in a day. I gave him 3 one day (throughout the day - not all at once), and he was pooping a lot more than usual. It wasn't diarrhea, but frequent poops do make potty training a bit more challenging. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We’ve bought these many times before with no problems. They looked usual when they arrived but today I went to open them and found it SWARMED with little white bugs. I split the container when I opened it originally, so I had some from the same batch in different storage on a different floor. That container was also completely swarmed with the white bugs. There is not any chance they did not come from the treats themselves. Disgusted and horrified I gave these to my dog. Video included, you can see the bugs moving, this is not some “powder” or otherwise harmless aging. Cannot stress enough to find another brand that has better quality control. ... show more

Got these for my 32lb anxious Shiba Inu.Hubby and I will be going on a 4-5 hr road trip in 2 weeks and she gets jumpy.I gave her 2 treats and she's currently passed out on the living room floor.     • Treated the Problem, not the Symptom!

My lovely dog Zara is 5 years old and spent much of her important early childhood on the streets, in shelters, and in a few different homes. She was abused in one of these homes, which as you can imagine caused her some residual anxiety. Although we have owned her for a year and a half, she started having some major potty training regression after about a year (relating to some digestive issues that kept her from being able to potty training well). We had been following the instructions of her behavior specialist with little progress, and it had reached the point where we felt we couldn't care for her anymore the way she needed to be cared for. She is super smart and generally picks up training very quickly which made our potty training struggles even more frustrating. These treats were recommended to us to help her with her anxiety. She has been taking these treats for over two weeks now and has gone from poop accidents 1-3 times per week to 0 times per week. Zara has also gone from about 3-4 full pee accidents per week (we classify an accident as a full bladder of pee, not a teeny pee when she's excited) to 0 pee accidents and 0-2 tiny pee accidents. The moral of the story: these treats WORK!! These were recommended by a vet in our area, and I couldn't be happier with how successful they are! We've bought these for our two dogs for over a year now, and have been fairly satisfied - they definitely work better on our Husky than they do on our Golden Retriever, but they seem to help with anxiety and sleep. However my wife noticed this mold tonight... this is the first time we've seen this, and the expiration date is still over a year away. Opened a new jar we had and it is fine, so may have just been a bad batch? What a shame. ... show more

I just got a new rescue about a year old. These worked great to calm him down (and my own pitty) so everyone could get used to the new environment. Calmed them down practically immediately, and there's been lots of laying around or simple sniffing, and playing in the evenings. Great product, will definitely buy again. Edit 15/09/24 I will note that these have developed white mold on them since my initial purchase in the spring. I haven't come across this before, although it does make me feel somewhat better about the ingredients (food stuffs SHOULD mold after so long). I will need to purchase again, even though I've only been through about a half container. I think smaller containers should be offered for dogs that don't often need the medicinal help. ... show more

I ordered these for my Maltipoo who gets very upset at the groomer. I'm sure you can tell in my picture he hasn't been groomed yet since I received them but he goes soon so 🤞. I have given them to him here at home to try them out and they seem to work good. He mellows out, it does not knock him out or anything, but he does calm down. He loves their smell and taste, as you can see in the photo he comes as soon as he sees me pick up the jar and would eat them all if I let him. He weighs 11 pounds and is fixed in case you're wondering. They did not upset his stomach and he seemed to chill out about 30 min or so after eating it. The pieces themselves are soft and well packaged. I would recommend anyone with an anxious pup to give them a try and I see myself ordering more in the future. ... show more
