This is by far the best laptop I've ever had. Runs games at max settings like it's nothing. I also work with 3D modeling and rendering software and this thing FLIES. Top quality renders in no time, and complex 3D modeling tasks without a problem. The screen is BEAUTIFUL. The sound quality is GREAT. The RGB looks really cool. The software to set it up can be a bit confusing but nothing a quick youtube video can't fix. Battery is not great, but that's normal for this kind of laptop. Keep in mind, this boy is HUGE. You get a 17" display, but it is bigger than that. It's also quite thick and quite heavy, but it's definitely worth it for the amazing performance you get. The charger is also big and heavy, so don't expect the most portable laptop. I love it and I totally recommend it if you're not looking for something to carry with you at all times. It was an upgrade from my 2020 ROG Zephyrus M15 and my life changed. ... show more

    • Return for this item is a nightmare, good computer though
The laptop is great; I ordered another one since the first one I bought has dead pixels. The new one works great and runs big games flawlessly. I however am dealing with issues on returning the first one with the dead pixels. The only option is UPS pickup and I started the return 4 days ago. No one has come to pick the item up and I am not given the option to have a printed label to return it. This is very stressful as this is an expensive purchase. I hope someone finally picks the defective laptop up soon. I cannot work from home all these day to have no one come. It’s not Amazon it’s the seller! Ugh I love my laptop but the return is just not convenient. I would give this higher stars if the return process was easier or if someone would finally pick the thing up!!! ... show more

Handles RAW files and 4k video from a nikon Z8 and Z9 really well which is my primary use. Great performance. Great screen. The 4080 with 12 MB of ram is sufficient and when this was purchased the 4090 version was not yet available. I stuck a 4 TB Samsung 990 Pro in the free M.2 slot and it works just fine. However...the battery has serious known drain issues that MSI doesn't seem to care about. Do a search and you'll find it across the MSI line up. When not plugged in and sitting completely off... say in a backpack or where ever for more than a week to 10 days... you can expect to find it totally drained. Mine seems to drain roughly 5% to 10% per day. With no apparent reason. Have double checked BIOS to make sure everything that should be turning off is. No clue. Other than that it's a wonderful laptop. Could easily replace a desktop and be a go to machine. Dual monitors are easily run too. ... show more

I haven't had any issues with mine since I got it a few months ago! It runs fast, easy to type on, and haven't had any technical issues. I've been playing games such as Battlefield 6 on high quality with no issues, and the computer doesn't run insanely hot either.

Got my laptop a week ago. Since my language isn't in the default installed system installed myself a new one. Except of that, hardware is good, performance are extremely good. So far very happy with this purchase, which I hope laptop will hold another 6 years, as my previous msi one. Costumer services gave me great answers, which was great. Got with the laptop a page which show what checkes they have done before releasing the computer for delivery. ... show more

    • Some good things and some crummy things
Overall a very solid laptop, it handles my games well and look great playing them. Zero complaints overall with this laptop tho it feels lower quality than my 5+ year old Lenovo that it replaced. HOWEVER!! The light bar/lighting system came SUPER faulty and I have yet to get any help getting it fixed. Got the run around from msi customer service and even their tech support didn’t/couldn’t help and never gave me a call back. I have to leave the laptop in sleep mode to get ANY consistent RGB on the keyboard and there’s ZERO customization for the lights for me. Very frustrating esp since the flickering lights give me headaches. I just want solid color in my color choices but it’s either all on flickering or if I start up from off or a reboot, I get 2-5 keys light up and the rest are off. For the price you’d think you get better customer service but nope. You’re SOL unless you decide to return it in the allowed time. If the RGB wasn’t giving issues from the day I got the laptop (on first start up even), this could easily be a 5 star laptop but the issue and lack of support means it’s 3 stars at best. ... show more

Quality at its finest, performance is medium to mediocre (keep getting shuttering video game images when playing black wukong). Value for money isn’t worth it as much because of the gameplay. Battery life is short if you’re playing high quality games otherwise you’re fine. Speed is wonderful, no cons. Sound quality is decent, it need a lots of programs to make it sound better.
